Got a call from our daughter last week, thankfully all of our family was home and she was able to talk to her brothers and sister on speakerphone. She’s doing good, but has good days and bad days when she misses us. She has passed her inspections, the next is boot shine. We talked for about 45 minutes., even her dog recognized her voice. Her PIR is 4/27/18 DIV 185, her “A” school will be at Great Lakes so we’ll spend a day more, can’t wait to see her, I just don’t know if she will be calling again or what to expect next. Although she’s into week 5, is there a chance that she doesn’t graduate? We have all the confidence in the world in her and we told her we knew she would do great. I keep thinking on how she sounded on the phone like she had been crying, was tired, had 4- 5 hours of sleep and I worry

Bernadette so happy you and your family had that time to talk to her. You have to know she is missing you all the same. BC is hard and they are very busy, and being tired is real. Their days start very early and ends at 10pm. if she has made it this far sounds like she has this and knows what to expect. Best wishes to your daughter, she will enjoy GL my son went to A school their as well. What is her rate?
Calls are totally up to the RDC. Don't expect a call, but have your phone available at all times (especially from 8 am to 8 pm Central Time M-Th and Sat and from 1 pm to 8 pm Central Time on Fridays and Sundays--calls at other times are possible, but generally indicate a problem or a need for information) and be pleasantly surprised when you get a call. See Phone Cards and Phone Calls.
If there is a problem, then she will call and that is not a call you want to receive. Keep sending encouraging letters and let her know how proud you are of her and how much you are looking forward to seeing her in her dress blues at PIR (I think she is in the last TG before the change over to dress whites).
There is info in Physical Fitness Assessment (PFA) and Fitness Improvement Training (FIT) for you.
I left info for you on your My Page.
