DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I forgot to say that the pillowcase instructions are on the Heads at Ease page and they are called "updated pillowcase instructions". Dori re-wrote what I wrote and gives some great tips.

But I don't know how to do those link things within the navy for moms website. you'll have to look in the archives.

glad to hear that you contacted the ombudsman Stephanie.

Dolly, I have a stepson in Jacksonville. And that is where the band The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus was started. Have you heard of them? Ronnie is my grandson.
No, Sue I haven't : am I missing something ? I'll have to check them out...do they perform in Jax much?
yes they do. In fact, they did a benefit concert for the family of the little girl who was kidnapped and murdered last fall.

Ronnie went to Orange Park High School. His son "Believe" is the Heads at Ease theme song. Look at the Heads at Ease page-I have 3 songs playing on there.
Hmmmmm......a benefit concert for Heads at Ease in Jacksonville, the home of Mayport Naval Air Station and Jax Naval Base, perhaps???????
we've talked about it. not so far fetched. got any connections at that base?
no,sorry, I don't have any there or any at Kings Bay,which is about 25 miles north of Jax,either. My only connection with the Navy is my daughter, sorry.
I heard back from the PAO and he informed me that he is looking into it and will get back to me ASAP with information for us to begin our project.
What does PAO mean and that's great news.
The PAO is the ship's Public Affairs Officer
wow ladies I guess I need to look at the top of the page more for discussions! I used to sew but the sewing machine got left behind in the chaos of divorce years ago. :) I would be glad to be a purchaser and purchase & mail fabric to a sewer.
hang onto that thought until we get approval from the command. But then your contribution will be greatly apprecaited!
Stephanie Alice, any action from the guy that you contacted? the PAO. there is chatter on other groups about this possible venture and I don't know what to tell them.
