OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Some hotels don't have a shuttle service so make sure before you book but the shuttle is like a taxi service...you can just call a taxi.

Corolyn...join your PIR group...there alot of your questions will be answered, it will be a great place for support as well. Many N4M's feel more "connected" with their rct when they get info on their group, esp from the same division
Hi moms, dont know what happen i had to connect with the group. But any whooo is there going to be a meet -n- greet and if so where will that take place?
Thanks momof5. where have you made reservations to stay @ trying to find some place close to stay near navel base.
You can do the meet and greet anywhere you want to...just ask the hotel you are staying at if they will do something for you all. The Ramda is getto, hole in the wall place (where they put the meet and greet) and anyone can get into the event, not just the N4M's so you can have anyone from the hotel walking in taking your stuff.
My son is leaving for Groton also! He is doing great!
Nice! We have been looking it up on the map, its a long way from home. DJ is training as an MT, What is your son doing?
My son is sub school, fire protection I think. Groton is five hours from Fulton. Not a bad drive!
Hi momof5, i have made resavations @ the country inn@ suits in Gurnee i was told that it is 15 - 20 mins drive to the base. I hope that is not too bad.
momof5 their is something post about the M&G on the main page.
