Hello! My son is also in this division, I'm just not sure why. He doesn't have any band/drill background. But I can't wait to see him @ PIR!
My boyfriend is in this division as well!  Just got the form letter and 3 sentences today, too!  He will be in the NUKE program upon graduation.  We've been together for over 5 years and we've never spent more than 10 days away from each other.
My SR is also in the Nuke program.

To Ering NC - My son is not "musical" either. I'm curious to find out why he was put in the 900's.

Hello everyone!  My son is also in this division.  I am new to all this military stuff so why do you think this division is something to do with music or band?  I only received the official letter with 3 sentences from my son.  I can't wait to hear from him whether it is a letter or call.  This is really hard not being able to talk or text him!

The 900s are a performance division.

Thank you Ering NC - very helpful.

To anyone who still needs a little understanding, the 900's will perform during their own PIR and possibly the 2 PIR's before. If your SR has a musical background, they would be in the band or chorus. Some are chosen to carry the flags, and some might be ushers or "body snatchers" which is helping the SR's who pass out. It is an honor to be chosen for this Div as you need to put in extra practice time on top of the other regular requirements of BC.

Thank you Ering NC!  I am hoping to receive mail from my son this week (Fingers crossed) - this is the longest I have ever gone without talking (or texting) him!! LOL

To Ering NC- Thanks for the info. Have you guys booked your hotel yet?

Missyssailor - we just booked our hotel last night at Courtyard Chicago Lincolnshire.  We will be driving there 8/31. I hope this is a good place to stay - any recommendations - cause I can change them!!

To Towermom- I am so new to all of this that I wouldn't know if that is a good pick or not.  I was planning on booking Marriott Waukegan. I picked it from the pamphlet that came with the form letter.
