Mine graduates that day too.(PIR Aug 26th)  This is all new to me. It isnt like the day i sent her to kindergarden.
What is your SR's DIV #? Mine is 271

My son is graduating on this day. I cannot find any needed information about the time and place. He is on Ship 11 Div 273.

Do you have this information?

Scroll back. Several of the comments have a link to a group of members whose recruits have the same PIR date.

Go the this group, on the right there are 10 pages with useful information for you to get acquainted with being a Navy mom. Be sure to watch the videos. Read the info in the Survival manual. Go to the RTC site and read up on the stuff there too.

New Moms Stop Here

Our son also graduates that day. Ship 07 Div. 270. We're comparing airline fares and hotels. We've been able to find a lot of nearby hotels with shuttle service to PIR but none with a shuttle service to O'Hare. We can't wait to meet everyone.
My SRis graduating on Aug 26, Ship 02 Div 914
Wow! I guess I better add my 2 cents worth for the Aug 26th graduation!!! My family and I will be staying at the Hampton Inn Thursday night thru Sat. morning. Thursday night at the hotel, there is a "Meet and Greet" for all family and friends of the loved ones who are graduating on the 26th. Free shuttle to the graduation the following morning! Hoping to see all the families and friends of the loved ones there Thursday night!! My son is  ship  7 division272...Brady L. Myers....will be crying my eyes out when I see the "garage door" open and they all start marching in.....Mom of 5 sons, but I have to be honest and say that my middle son has made me the most proudest Mom that I ever thought I could  be!!! Hope to see everyone at the meet and greet Thursday night....just right around the corner!!!!
