Hello—

I am confused I haven’t received a letter or anything but doing my math looks like my daughter PIR would be Nov. 29 but because is the day after thanksgiving graduation is done Wednesday instead of Friday. I’m afraid to book any hotels or airfare. Any recommendations or suggestions??? Is anyone else going thru the same process????

Thank you in advance.

You do need to wait for the form letter before you start making any travel plans. By counting weeks to PIR you have a guess when PIR will be, but it is only that, a guess. It may end up the week before, and in some cases the week after.

Thank you I appreciate your feedback. I asked her recruiter and her PIR is scheduled for Nov. 29 but he suggested the same to wait another 2 weeks to start making plans.

There is no PIR on the 29th, PIR that week is on the 27th due to Thanksgiving. Wait on the form letter before making any plans or mailing any letters if you also got her address from the recruiter.

I am in the same process, I am assuming my son’s PIR is the 27th... and still awaiting the Form Letter as well. So hard just sitting here and wait to make plans. I was ready to book at least the hotel but decided to wait as everyone is suggesting to do so. Let’s have faith and everything will be good!

Hello—

I am patiently waiting for her letter, forms or something. I’m just concerned that if PIR is before thanksgiving traveling and hotels may be more expensive and crazy since we will be traveling from California.  Here is something someone dearly shared with me and helps me with my faith.

Yes, I totally understand. I was speaking about the same thing with my Husband this weekend about the rates going up the longer we wait. We are in Minnesota, a shorter distance than you but still need to prepare! Thank you for the prayer. I recently joined a Bible Study, to help me keep calm or at least I feel like I need ‘something’ to control my thoughts. It nice knowing others are in my shoes.

Hi, I havent recieve any calls yet from my son but i recieved a letter stating that his PIR Is on Nov 27, anybody recieve a call?

Hi—

I received letters and forms on Friday and a phone call on Saturday. And because of thanksgiving she told me that her PIR is schedule for 11/27 I have been trying to see if I can booked tickets but there is a lot of missing information I have been told not to do it just to wait. But I am worry that all prices may go up and I will be unable to go.

any suggestions????

Make your reservations.

Hi Michelle, we received our first call yesterday! We received his first personal letters on Saturday. Keep your phones on you, you might get yours this week!!

Hi yes i wont book ticket first unless everything is final especially my son havent called me yet.. So calls happen randomly not everybody on the same PIR date get to make calls on the same day? Thank you!

@lemonelephant wrote somewhere that calls may be random and it depends on their RDC. The phone banks could be full and not everybody can make the calls all in one day and such or for other reasons... Keep the faith, your call will come!
