OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

We got our call today. First one since the 10 second call when he got there. He sounded good but said it was hard not being able to talk to us. Hope all of you got your calls today also.

hey lostmomma got my call too i was sitting around at work waiting for the phone to ring. when it finally rung i ran outside to answer it i was so excited. he said everything going pretty good .he said they are fixing to go through hell week so they should be having fun lol.had his wisdom teeth removed also i really feel sorry for him on that. well hope all you other families recieved calls too!!!

The recruits in this division are often here because of high ASVAB scores. They (The Navy) know that recruits with high scores won't need as much time to study and can better handle the extra work and practice that comes with being in a performing division. Many of them also have marching, drill, choir, flag corp, or band experience. It is an honor to be a part of this group known as the Triple threat :-)

Only a month to go. Then we see our4 loved ones. My son left may 15 and everything I have heard is awesome. He says he is doing so well and loving life. Makes me proud. We all should be.

Quick question. My son seems to think that we won't see him during his PIR. He says his duties are "behind the scenes". Will they get a break from their duties to participate in the actual ceremonies?

Hello, I just joined with only 9 days left until graduation. We are from Temecula, CA. My son called me today and said that if the recruit is in the Honor Guard and has any females attending his graduation that they must ware purple colored clothing. Has anyone heard of this? My son is in ship 02 Div 935.
