Hello!
I don't miss all the stress of my son being at bc, but I do miss all the encouraging things you ladies always had to say!
Anyway... I know its been awhile, but my son is graduating A school soon... he did extremely well, and was allowed to be first to pick his assignment... he is heading to the Pacific and will be aboard a carrier for 3 yrs! I am so proud, but at the same time, I'm having such a hard time with how long he will be gone. Can anyone point me in the direction of some kind of support group for moms in the same place? I'm not even sure I should say the name of the carrier here for OPSEC purposes. Any thoughts would be so greatly appreciated!

Me too, Sharon-Erin's Mom. I talked to them today and they are aware of the problem. You need to call them and give them your Sailor's name and division number. It appears in was 217 & 218. The Recruit Graduation Review (there will be one with each division) should be for your Sailor's PIR. Call the Photo Lab at Great Lakes at 847-578-6205. They said it will take a few weeks to get our new books because they are waiting a few weeks to make sure they get all the names of those who got the wrong book-apparently not everyone from our Division got the wrong books.

I received Erin's "Keel" book today! I was so excited,,until I opened it and realized they sent the wrong division!! I can't find any of her order paperwork.. does anyone have a phone number for the navy photo lab?
My SN is in Pensacola and he too is waiting for class to start. They have PT, fire fighting, and watches, but there is more down time too. They saw a movie on base the other night. I have sent him some tshirts and shorts. He's in a room with only one other guy. And the best part is that we can talk to him pretty regularly. Monterey is a wonderful place. I hope you get to visit!
So how is everyone doing since graduation? My son is in Monterey and he told me he is sooo happy. Classes haven't started yet so he says they are doing like an extended BC only they get liberty now once they finish for the day. This will probalbly change when he has start class. What is the word on your SN's?
The picture I just posted was the doors opening on PIR 7/13 and Div 213 coming in. Penny that's that only Div 213 picture I have. I have a couple of my sailor's (yes it's great to be able to say sailor and not SR) Div (215). Hope you see your SR (Sailor!)
Here is the Tshirt link
Can someone help me out with the link to the Div T-Shirts. Thank you
