My son is on Ship 12.  However, Div 220.

I'm sure they'll see lots of each other though!

My son is on Ship 12/DIV 219.

Oh yay! I'm glad there's some people on here whose sailor is in the same division. My husband left May 21st, and he's a PR.

My son is on Ship 12, Div 219.  Hope they are doing well.

I received the PIR info packet in the mail, and my husband had written a small note on the back. Summary: he's getting yelled at a lot and misses home... Poor things =[. But they're working hard for a reason, and I know looking back on it, they'll believe it was all worth it

I got a quick note on the back of my letter as well.  He must be flying under the radar, it was day 4 and he said I still haven't gotten chewed out yet, so I'm doing better than most :)  Don't know if that still remains true with it being day 8!!!!  I was shocked to see the note...he  said he was being timed...so it had to be short.

My son is in this ship/division!!!!   yay!!!!!!!!!

I joined the FB page listed above...if anyone else wants to!    :)

They will be able to write their first letters this Sunday right? Has anyone had any extra contact with their SR?

No I just got the short note on the back of the form letter...I am wondering when we get a phone call...I have been carrying around my phone like it is my life line :).  When I see the timing of the boxes, it took only 4 days and the form letter took 8 and that was including the holiday weekend!!!!  If you check out some of the other timings I feel like I have been very fortunate so I am hoping for the best!!!  By the way there have been 3 rainbows since my son left, I always think that is God's way of telling me, good things are to come!!!
