Repeat after me...."No news is good news". If he had gotten into trouble enough to get booted out, you'd have heard from him.

BTW, if you haven't already, there is a group here you can join that has the parents of your division. Go join and I'm sure someone is discussing them.

My son did the very same thing, except he had been out of H.S. for a year. I believe to this day that he did so well in bootcamp because it was HIS decision to join. Nobody talked him into it, he did it all on his own.

Concernedad is 100% correct. NO news is GOOD news. Your son is in a very safe place and is being very well taken care of. IF there was/is a problem, you will be the first to know. Hang on to your hat as Military life is like a rollercoaster with tons of ups and down, and many curves thrown in for fun.

One piece of advice; read the OSPEC rules provided on the first page. You should stick with your screen name and NOT use your real name in posts. This is a PUBLIC website and anyone can read our posts. OSPEC rules are made for the safety and security of ALL of our Sailors and Military Branches.

Thank you im having trouble still i can find 346 but not 345, and as for the full name sorry didnt read the rules, just looking to find anyone in his division 345, i didnt read the rules im a wreck,I wont use last name again and dont know how to delete. I also understand the saying no news is good news yet to me I just need to hear my son say hes ok.......Hes writing that hes not recieving our letters thats concerning to me.

Divisions are split up in Boot Camp by twos. So 345 and 346 are probably sister divisions. I might suggest calling his recruiter and checking to make sure you have the correct address for him. I would think by now you may have gotten a phone call from him.

Also, you really need to delete your posts with your last name on them. It's for his safety and yours. There is a little x in the top right corner of your post. Click it, then try your post again.
