I sent out a package to my son, who is on deployment, on Nov. 18. He still has not received it. I do realize it takes a while, as this is not the first package I have sent. I decided to look up the tracking and it says that the package was delivered (Dec 11) to FPO AP, with whatever area code, but his package says FPO AE with correct area code. Is this normal? Does it really matter which one it went to and maybe just take longer to get to him? Any one know about this sort of thing? I tried to search it but couldn't find anything. I thought one of you might have had this experience. Thanks for reading. :)
AP is area pacific, AE is area europe ... it will get to him eventually. If his ship is deployed, the package will get there either way. Yes, it can take weeks and weeks.
I have been trying to do a little research. Hopefully it will get there eventually. I was just surprised because I know I put it on the package correctly. I had never even knew the other zip code. I did find another ship with a similar name that was out the other way, so who knows. You can never tell when you let things out of your own hands. Thank you for your help. :) I do know that it can take a long time, but the usual is about a month so when I looked it up to see where it was, it scared me a little seeing the wrong FPO address. Thanks again!
