We have our son's Power School Graduation coming up soon.  I was wondering what to expect.  Is it similar to Boot Camp Graduation?  I know that it will be much bigger than the A-School Graduation.  Do the sailors get liberty immediately following the graduation?

Hi Barb,

Thank you for the info about Power School Graduation.  That is a great idea to invite any sailors who don't have family coming.  I will have to mention it to my son!

I guess I was silly to think they might still have rooms available!!! But they were very nice and recommended some other accomodations.  If our son ends up staying there for the next phase I'll know to call right away, thanks again!

I think he said he should know in a couple weeks.  We are really hoping for NY, he put that as his first choice but I know that there are a lot of factors that go into deciding where they go.  It's only four hours away which would be awesome.  I'm trying not to get my hopes up!  I will certainly have plenty of questions about Prototype.  My son is a man of few words and it can be tough getting any info from him.  Have a great weekend!

Oh that's great, I didn't know anything about that.  I will definitely look in to it, Between airfare, hotel rooms and a rental car any discounts would be helpful.  I really appreciate the information, THANKS!
