When a sailor email reaches the submarine, does the sailor have to manually check for the email? Or is it delivered to him after being checked for appropriateness?
I didn't remember to tell my fiance to check for mail. This is his first time out, and neither of us knew a lot about the whole keeping in touch process. Initially, we thought there was no way to contact each other. I've emailed him, and according to the flags I placed in the email on purpose, the email reached the boat.
It's been 5 days since then, and he hasn't replied. I just want to make sure he's actually got the email before freaking out or anything. I understand that the emails can't be sent or received until the boat has enough communication depth time. Just want to make sure he'll actually read them eventually.
