I had a box on my front porch when I got home from work yesterday.  Even though there wasn't a note or anything inside, it still made me feel happy and closer to him for the moment just to have them.  I feel like this week is my initiation week as a girlfriend to a military man - i guess it is.

congrats! Welcome to the 'silent ranks"
Did the box have any kind of address to reach him at?
the lable had a street address but no division number so I don't think that would work. I called his recruiting chief and he said that I can stop by Monday and he should probably be able to get me an address by then if I don't get a letter with the information before then.
Hey i got a box today too wellhis mom did but she told me and i should be going over to open it together. The form letter with his address should be coming in soon icant wat if not i heard you can call his recruitor for the info. When she tld me the box arrived it made me sad and happy. I got the same feeling like im a little closer to him.
I know what you mean. I searched everything just hoping maybe i might find a hidden note - but i really didn't think there was time for him to do that - but i still checked. :-) I talked to his recruiting chief quite a few times over the last year and I really liked him. A nice guy. So I felt comfortable calling him and asking him about the address. I know that even once I get the address and send the pages I've written so far each night that it will still probably take a while for it to find it's way to him - but at least I will know it is on it's way. I was wondering if I should send him some postage stamps? I just want to make sure that I get a letter as soon as possible. I think I probably will stick a few inside the envelope. I bet we are jumping up and down when we get our letters from them.
Hey good idea ima probably send some postage stamps too. I cant wait till i finally receive his adress or a letter from him i think it will put me more at ease and really feel him closer finally knowing what hes doing and how hes doing and just knowin he misses me too. And i will be able to finally send him the letters i been writing. i wonder do they keep all the lettes with them or should i sen him a bg envelope to send them back so i can hold them for him??
when did he leave for bootcamp
he left on Feb 1
You don't need to send stamps, they just buy them there. And they can keep all their letters...at least hope. My bf hasn't said anything about throwing mine away so he must still have them.
yeah they keep all the letters, i told him to mail them back if he was running out of room & he said "NO WAY, I READ THEM ALL THE TIME "
okie dokie thanks. Can wait to get the info
Ryan Sent back my Letters since he had no room to keep all of them. I sent tooo Many
