FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

hi ladies, my name is Ashleigh and I am Mary's daughter. I know she spends alot of time on here and has made so many great friends! As many of you know her father/my gpa has been really sick.. she has spent the past two weeks taking care of him and he passed this evening. she could use some love and support during this rough time so I came here to ask if yall could send some encouragement her way! she thinks of you all as family and loves you dearly.

Many of us that are close to your Mom have her address in Michigan and have been sending cards, etc. You have a very, very special Mom and she's going to need your love and support in the upcoming weeks. We're here for both of you!

Ashleigh, We love your mom like family and are here for you all. I'm sure it meant the world to your grandpa having here there for the past few weeks. Big hugs to you all.
Ashleigh, you know I love your mom and she is in my thoughts today as she goes through this terrible time. We love you and both Nick's also! God has accepted Grandpa in his loving arms and hope your mom finds some comfort in that. Carol
