I haven't seen anyone else from Div. 328, but if they are going to be in white,I vote blue, if blues then white. Anybody else out there from 328?
PastorMom
I'm 328.... and I think there is one other mom that is 328... Cindy Sailor Mom is also 328. I'm not sure if she's on this group yet. I've talked to so many people the last few days I'm LOST!!
Hi,
I'm okay with any color-just so they don't run when we cry like a river!
PastorMom
USA colors don't run, Ma'am

But you did raise a question, Should I bring a parka? I think on 10/1 the flood gates will open.
I think some of the other moms and sig others may be in the "Deppers - leaving for bootcamp in August" GROUP
I'm 328...there is also Mom4boys who I think is 328. I can message her to get her on here, too!!!
Good morning bonniern, I had already ordered three ribbons in blue with the 326 on it but contacted Lala Ribbon Queen to see if I could change it to gold. Am waiting reply. Letters should maybe be in white. What say you. Anyway, I have started hounding my mail man and am hoping I get a letter today. My next letter will have the info about pictures and Keelbook and DVD. I will start that letter today as soon as I have had my 3rd cup of coffee. Watched videos of PIR yesterday morning and since I will be the only one in the family there, that I know of at this time, I wonder how I will make it through. I am emotional to begin with and my heart swells with pride in this country every time I hear anything remotely patriotic. I cried watching the Today show this morning as the last group of combat soldiers left Iraq. I have a friend whose husband and son both served over there, in the Army and the Guard, and thankfully both came home in good shape. Hope your day goes well, Elaine
You may be the only one in the "genetic" family, but you won't be alone. You will have your navy family. Maybe we can stay at the same hotel and drive together and sit together and cry together. Go to my friends list and add Jane Messacar. Shes a 326 like us.

Ribbon colors aren't going to matter in the end. I will go with whatever Lala Ribbon Queens can do for us, I am sure it will be fabulous, the posted pictures are great. I am just so greatful that I don't have to make them. My chromosome with the creative gene is broken or missing.
You have all the divisions listed. The web site that shows the list of graduating divisions as well as lots of other helpful information about boot camp and is where you print your gate pass 11 days before PIR is: www.bootcamp.navy.mil/ then go to the tab that says families highlight graduation then click on upcoming graduations.

In the past all the ribbons I have made have been navy blue with gold or silver letters. For the most part the 800 and 900 divisions have been done with gold letters and all the others with silver letters. There are exceptions lol, some wanted gold letters because their jewelry was gold and some wanted silver for the same reason. I have red, white, and navy blue ribbon, and I am sure I can get gold and almost any other color. The letters come in gold, silver, white, red, blue, and teal, and a very light green color. The stars come in gold, silver, red, blue, and clear that could be used with any color ribbon. I make the anchors myself and I know the material I use comes in shiny gold and silver and in white. I am not sure if it comes in other colors but I can find out. I think a silver anchor will go with any other colors. I will try to put some samples together this afternoon and see what looks good together. As good as the samples look on this website they look so much better in person. I can't wait for you all to see them.
I like the Gold with Red, like to be different. My son is in ship13 div 329. Thanks to Lala Ribbon Queen.
Oops, if this is for the whole 10-1, then I agree with the Red and Gold stars. I think it's just too early and my eyes just haven't adjusted yet. Sorry. I'm getting that cup of tea before I read anymore.
I like the red idea with gold lettering.
