I'll start...my sailor is not on the RMD, he is an FC that is still in GL but has orders to report to his C school in January. I joined this group to help support the families of the RMD on this deployment.

Hi I'm Rebecca and my sailor is Sean and he is an EMO on board the RMD. We have been on board the RMD for almost three years now. I am a Navy wife for 17 years now and this is my 6th deployment. I also was in the Navy myself. That's where I met my wonderful husband of 14+ years. We have three wonderful children, two girls ages 14 and 11 and our son who is 7.
I am also the OMBUDSMAN for the RMD and I was also the FFSG President. Please let me know if there is anything that I can help you with. I am always willing and able to help support any RMD family or any sailor and their families going through deployments.
My name is Rae Ellen and my sailor Richie is a FC. He has been on the Davis for almost 3 years. This is his second deployment, but my first! :-( We are expecting our first child Feb 27th and are so excited! We can't wait to meet our little guy! I LOVE MY SAILOR and am so proud of him and his hard work!

We love the military life, though we can't be together all the time, but we just re-enlisted for 6 more years before they left. I hope to get to know you girls and see you soon when the boys get home. It will be a nice homecoming for all of us and we will all know each other well!
Congratulations! I am quite partial to that date. February 27th is my Dad's birthday!
Hi everyone, I'm so glad there are groups supporting these deployed sailors. This is the first time my son has been out. I know Jon was excited to receive packages around Thanksgiving...said it felt like Christmas. I mailed out his Christmas package the day after Thanksgiving, and he still hasn't received it. Funny how the simplest things are now so important.

I guess they'll be in port again soon, hopefully that will be the big mail delivery. I just found out about the voice messages and left one, we'll do that as a group on Christmas as well. I'll have to check out the web site to see what's going on with his ship.
Again, thank-you all for what you are doing. Roberta
