Are there any other folks out there from Ship 02, Div 913?

Are the questions all from the RTC website?  I want to try to win, but I can't get on at work.  I think my husband is going to try to next week, though.

It's Wednesday 1/11/12, all our SR's from 02/913 are supposed to call anywhere from 5PM to 9PM Central time! Be ready!!

I got my call at 5 o'clock on the dot.  We got to talk for 50 minutes.  It sounds so hard, but I am so proud of her.  She is hanging in there.  These kids are so much tougher than they thought.

Was so sorry to read about the SR that passed away yesterday, after being so happy to hear from my daughter. Cannot imagine the families grief, prayers and healing thoughts being offered for his family & friends.

Did you ladies know that our SRs might end up on the RTC's facebook page the two weeks before PIR?  Apparently they take photos of graduation, and the 900 group is often featured in the pics.  Several moms got to see their kids before graduation day in these photos.  I am stalking the site for sure now.

I did too, even though I knew it was too early.  But I like to look and see how strong they ALL look, whether it is my SR or not.  And then I made my husband explain all the variations in uniform.  Did you not that the girls are in a dressier uniform than the boys?  I read somewhere that there is a shortage on the men's dress uniform and that is why they are all wearing the traditional sailor suit.  I like the navy blue traditional sailor suit.  I looks good on them.

I am new to this site :)  What is and where is the US Navy Recruit page for Trivia Tuesday's?  And my daughter told me that Division 913 has a FB page?????  I looked for hours but failed lol.  My daughter's last letter said they should perform Feb 3rd, Feb 10th and the 17th.  Will the PIR pictures you are "stalking" show up on here or another site??

http://www.facebook.com/NavyRecruitTrainingCommand  will get you to the basic RTC site.  If you look to the left there is a heading called "forums".  Click on that and scroll until you find their training group.  It is set up backwards from all other FB groups in that the most recent comments are on the last page.  The PIR pics they post every week are on the main page.  Look for them on Thursdays or Fridays.

Where are you guys from and where is she headed?  My daughter said she is making some really good friends.

Thank you sooooooo much for the information :)  I found the FB page and forum and I am reading all the wonderful comments now.

My daughter is heading to VA. for A school and C school after graduation.  This is her first time away from home and it has been rough for all of us especially her 5 year old son.  We are in Oregon for now but who knows what the future holds, we are a very close family of three girls and my Grandson.  She is a Soprano in the choir and doing way beyond all expectations as of her last letter.  What about you and your SR?

Makes me wonder who she is- my daughter said one of her good friends has a 5 year old.  Mine is also a soprano and seems to be holding up.  Said it is very hard.  She has a solo for graduation.  She is headed to Monterey Ca after graduation for A school.  Friend me and we will see if our girls know each other- she sent me some names of her best buds.

Already requested lol.  Mine sent me details of her best buddies too :)  Can't wait to compare letters.

We are in Oregon too!! Our daughter Alto. I been one of the FB stalkers waiting for pics to surface on the US Navy Recruit Training page.
I think the word is getting around to 02/913 us family members are playing Trivia Tusday so they can get their picture taken and put on FB..LOL! I wasn't fast enough today. Our daughter is heading to San Antonio for A school after PIR. So looking forward to 2/17/12.
