Hi all - I can't believe how long it's been sense we were all in this room chatting and wondering if our kids would make it through boot camp. I would love to know where everyone is located - well kinda located given the rules. My son is on the east coast which is wonderful for us. He can come home at times (when he has money). He's been deployed twice already, which wasn't always easy being 21, be he adjusted well. I can't thank the Navy enough for the Man he's become. We've watched 3 boys in our family come home save this year from deployment and we feel very blessed. I hope you are all doing well and your children are as well.
Leaving this group now.
Blessings to you all and your Sailors!
momofSR - I am hoping that everything works out for you all...what a thing to have to go through!
momofSR03/071 I am so sorry to hear of what happened while you are away and I am happy that you are filing charges. Some of our problems in society today stem from the lack of holding people accountable & responsible for their actions. You did not force them to destroy/desicrate your home & they need to be held accountable for their actions. I refer sarcastically to the words accountable & responsible quiet frequently as bad words such as the four letter word beginning with f. Heaven forbid we hold people accountable or responsible. Kind of like famous people who overdose and then everyone looks for a scapegoat in the Dr's who prescribe the meds that they (the Dr's) believe the person to need. Did they force that person to take the drugs outside of their prescribed dosage? Off my soapbox...Hope you can move on from this and that there is a speedy end to it.
Glad to hear everything is cleaned up and that you are holding the people who did this accountable.
raeinaz: Thanks! Yes, if you would like to drop into the active PIR groups, check some of the posts, and just answer questions/share your experience, that would help. The current active groups are:
PIR 03/02, 03/09, 03/16, 03/30, 04/06
Thanks for the help!
