Hey Connie,  I'm going to Goose Creek next weekend also.  Maybe we can finally meet.  I'll call you.  Not sure if I'm going Friday evening or early Sat. morning.  Hope they like Nuke School.  Surely since they are starting the same time they will be meet.  One of his suite mates is from NC also (Kings Mtn.),

No BattleStations info for them yet, but they should be first to go in their group, so I'm thinking...Th/F (overnight drill) 9th/10th.  Calls to come in on the afternoon of the 10th.

Hi Connie.  No letter on Saturday.  Maybe it will be here Tuesday.  I am so ready to hear from him.  I hate that he is not getting any mail when others may be receiving mail by now.  I've got several to mail as soon as I get his address.  And yes, I plan to go to PIR.

My SR is heading to Nuke school too.  Maybe they are in the same Div.

Hope you had a Merry Christmas.

Somehow I deleted your comment before I finished reading it.  I did see that you said you were from Dunn.  In your letter today did it say the PIR date was 02/17?  I'm guessing that is when my nephew will graduate too since he left on Dec. 12.  Still looking for that letter.  I wished that I had called his recruiter today.  I have his cell # but I hate to call on Christmas Eve.  Maybe the letter will come tomorrow.

Maybe our SR's will be in the same Div.  At least it would be two North Caorlina boys together.

Merry Christmas.   Trudy (unc80)

Myson reported on 12Dec11 to his recruitor.  He arrived at Great Lakes on 13Dec11.  Received the ltr yesterday stating he will graduate on 17Feb11.  He is on ship 3/div 069.

My son left on Dec. 13th and we got word from his recruiter that he is Ship 12 Div 074.  No letter has been received as to when his PIR will be.  We are expecting the 17th from all the other posts we've been seeing.  His box arrived last Friday with no papers inside.

I am almost to my sons PIR so I have been reminicing on how we got here.  My son has always had it easy in school.  A's without trying but he is a little on the lazy side.  He could not decide what he wanted to do after graduation so he did not apply for scholarships, stating he would go to community college while he figured it out and we would save money.  After oe year of commumity college and working part time jobs he decided he was, " bored to death and still did not know what to do with…
