Hello! My boyfriend is a nuke and in ship 02 and division 932. I though it would be nice to make a place for anyone else with the same division and/or ship to talk and share information! I hope I find some others(:

Yes, my son couldn't handle the loans piling up and going into a ministry field.  He wanted to go into the Navy to fly a jet, but failed the peripheral test.  But, he did get offered an air traffic control position, so he will have a good option there too if he doesn't ever finish his degree.  Oh and he is thinking about the Seals deal. I don't even want to think about that, but for now, its the boot camp he needs to finish!
Our son went to Huntington University, a Christian college in Indiana.  They should be in the same class in A school.  I think there are only 20 of them in the class, so most likely he will be.  We'll have to check it out when we get to graduation!! Do you know how much time they have off after graduation and where that time will be off at?  He didn't know and was told before he went to boot camp he would have a week off, but even if he does, some said the week off would be in Pensacola!
Wow, we are originally from a small town just sout fo Ft. Wayne, very near Huntington. Moved out west several years ago, but family is still there.
Small world!
Esther! I just talked to Grant and he confirmed it's your husband who is his best friend. He says they both think it is really cool that we know eachother.
I got a call! I'm so happy. I'll post all about it when I'm on the computer not my phone. It's on the main group page. I'm so happy!!!
Yay, he called! So good to hear his voice, hated to hear him get choked up
Sounded really good though.
AND great news about them performing at graduations 3 weeks in a row! We might actually get to see their faces on facebook.
nope, he bought a phone card at the NEX store on base
They are making calls as we speak, keep it by you yours is coming!
Maria, please tell me you got a call?
He took a phone card with him but. Said he bought another @ the px
I'm praying you have heard her voice by now

I'm very happy to have received a call from my daughter.  Praying that you get one today Maria!  Our daughters are good friends!  If I would have thought about it I would have told my daughter to let yours use her phone card if that was causing her not to call you...I'm sorry I didn't think about it til after I got off the phone.

I need to clarify things about our SR's if you all  don't mind.  I don't seem to be able to keep up with 7 groups, my facebook and my daughter's facebook.  So here goes...please correct me if I'm wrong or add things I leave out!!

hco (TN) - your SR is a daughter - where is she going to A school

maria (TX) - your daughter & mine are Nukes...good friends

esther & jessica - your husbands are bestfriends

esther (KC) - your husband is an air traffic controller and going to Pensacola

jessica (IL)  - your b/f is a Nuke

Star - your SR is a son and a linquist

Abby - your son is possible air traffic controller

Who plans on attending the meet & greet at the Ramada?  I am going to try and make it in time.  I only live 4 1/2 hours from GL so I am driving...they just called from the body shop...my car will be done next Wednesday!! YAY!!  :-)

I really enjoy talking to you all and I keep you all in my thoughts knowing that you are all going through the same as I am.  I hope everyone has a fantastic day and remainder of the week!!

Esther,

I read somewhere on this site that our graduation will be outside and there will be no more than 4 people allowed per graduate - even kids.  Have you seen that?

oh wow, that's awful.  BUT the good news is, he can come over to the base for the celebration after graduation.  Sounds like they're going to have bands and all kinds of activities.  So maybe that will be good for him.

Can't wait to meet you all!!
