Is it too late to order? I'm not sure how the ribbons look, but I would like to show my support and this looks like a good way to do that. I've seen your posts on here about ordering ribbons, but have since lost track of where. Let me know where to go to officially place an order.  I'd like to get one each for me, my daughter, and my dad.
Thanks for the order, your ribbons were shipped yesterday morning and you should have them by Friday. Maybe even tomorrow :-)

We're getting so close now!  I received two letters from my SR this week, one he sent out last Thursday (10/6) and one on the regular mailing day early in the week.  It's hard to believe we will be leaving in 1 week and 2 days to make our way to Great Lakes!  We will be staying on the base because my dad is retired military.  It saved about $160 total in lodging and I'm hoping it will help with the morning of PIR by skipping security and long lines getting on the base.

Will anyone else be arriving before Thursday evening?

I just found this group, I've been over on the RTC FB page, there should be pictures of our SR's up over there soon

Welcome Kate! Glad to have you! I just saw the pic on FB, printed it out to show off at work, and watched the video with tears of joy!  Can't wait to see our new family!  10 days to Meet & Greet at Waukegan Ramada Inn and 11 days until we hug our Sailors!

I have tried to find this on FB.  What do I go to?

Thank you.  I found her!!! yippee
So happy I found that picture, and I'm our hunting for more :-)
For everyone who ordered ribbons to wear to PIR they have all been shipped even the ones that were ordered last night and this morning. You should have them within 2 to 3 days and I am sure many of you have already received yours that were ordered earlier. It is almost time for PIR and I know you are all EXCITED about that :-) If anyone missed out on ordering ribbons and would like to get them please contact me ASAP. I have a very quick turn-around and ship Priority mail so there is still time to get them before you leave if you order quickly. Just send me a friend request on this site or an email to: uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com    Thanks everyone for making my ribbons a part of your very special event.
Next week at this time my family and I will be within walking distance of our SR.  Going to be tough, not trying to scale the fence, but she will keep me grounded! :-)
lol, I felt the same way, I must have driven past that base 20 times. So many times in fact that I got scared they would come out and ask me what I was doing so I left haha. I know you all will have a great time. Travel safely :-)
