For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Nothing in mine empty. Although I did hear from one of the girls she was in DEP with, she PIRed on Friday. She said no news is good news is TRUE.... :)))). I end her letters with stay strong. I guess we need to take that advice as well.

Okay. Then I'll try not to get too upset with my husband's comments then, who BTW is a retired Navy Senior Chief after 20 years ("Babe, it's boot camp"...."Honey, he's probably very busy"....) ha! Stay strong!

Yeah finally a letter, she said it is GREAT. Passed her swim test but was 30 sec too slow on her run. Lots of the girls in her division will be going to Pensacola for A school. Oh I am soooo relieved. Ship 2 DIVISION946.

Hey everyone! :) I got the first handwritten letter yesterday and was wondering if u all got one too? He said they were able to open their mail because they had good behavior that day :) he also said he's made good friends with " ledoux and ault " if any of you women are familiar with those names :)

Got letters today!! It's a great feeling. She is doing great and I can relax. So it seems, they come on Wednesday. She passed all of her tests, yea. It's the half way mark now. Still have talked with her, but that's ok.

Hey Girls,
My daughter was moved to 946 from 945 because she was in the hospital for 5 days so she missed a week of BC. She is back at BC now and doing fine. I'm feeling the need to connect with some of the moms in her new division. I have gotten several letters and was blessed to be able to talk to her every day while she was in the hospital. Are any of you planning to go to graduation?
