Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 904

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Got my first letter from my SR in the mail yesterday! It felt like Christmas!

still no call *sigh* so bummed

I haven't heard anything from my SR. No letter, No call. I just would love to hear my son's voice. So frustrated.
Hi fellow moms of Division 904!
Has anyone received a phone call lately from their recruit? My son made his one call home in late
October and I unfortunately missed it, can't even begin to describe the feeling... I'm still beating up myself about it... I did get my second letter this Friday, the last one was very short, my son says there's very little time to write... Can't wait for another call to hopefully come in, I miss my boy tremendously as I'm sure you feel about your sons and daughters! Would love to meet some of you at PIR on Dec 4th!
Hello, I just got off the phone with my son. We were able to talk for an hour!! Hopefully you all received your calls today. One happy mom here!!
Hi Lwill43! Glad you got to speak with your son! We finally got to talk to our son also, he called on Sunday- one happy family right here, woo-hoo! We spoke for afoot 50 minutes, it made up for that first missed call that we were son bummed about! He sounded good and said he's training to be part of the honor guard at graduations... Excited about that too! Hoping to talk to him on Thanksgiving since we aren't able to adopt him for the day, our first thanksgiving without him, it will be tough but if we can just speak with him...I might just make it through the holiday...

I finally got a call tonight Div 904 !!  He said he had watch the last time they were granted calls. That's why I didn't hear from him.  I had so many questions and so much to tell him I was able to keep it together till the call was over at least.  We had about 15 mins and then he called his girlfriend.  He said they are all doing good.  They just won a flag and he is a rail guard.  He has made some friends and some of them will be going on to A school with him.  I had myself so worked up waiting for his call for so long I really feel like a weight has been lifted now that I heard his voice.  I pray that anyone still waiting for their call get it ASAP .   I know what you are going through, my thoughts are with you.

Yes I also received a call from my son! I'm so happy. He did tell me about the flag as well. He told me Hell week is this week. They will be very busy. But all and all he sounds great. He said he met some really cool people. He said some are really immature and don't know how to be quiet which puts them in trouble. But I told him to push through and he will be ok. A few more weeks to go and we will see our SRs!

Received my second phone call yesterday from my SR! We talked for 30 minutes because he had to call his parents as well, it was so nice to hear my mans voice again!

got my 3rd phone call today! SO happy! He said they took class & individual pictures this past week as well!

Hi, we too received our 3rd call, I can't wait to see my son
who is ready for PIR?
