Welcome to the discussion group for division 903!!!

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hello,

My daughter Melissa is in ship 02 Div 903, I haven't gotten the "real" letters yet, I'm hoping today will be the day. Has anyone gotten a phone call yet? Anyone else from NJ?

Lisa

My son is in Div 903. Like the rest of you I have set up camp at the mail box and take my phone EVERY WHERE!! Hopefully the next several weeks go by quickly. I have my plane tickets, hotel reservations and tissues ready. Anyone else going to Chicago that is from Florida. I believe my SR will be going to Pensacola for A school.

Are kids are bunk mates!  My son called me last night and told me that your son is on the top bunk.

Hi Lisa and Riley!

SO READY TO POUND MY MAILMAN! LOL...
Hope you both are holding up well and ready to take on this madness, we call the military life!
Finally got my first letter today! I was so excited just to see his handwriting on the envelope. Now I sit by the phone and wait for the first social call. That should really get the tears flowing.

Facebook friends, an announcement for 30 NOV PIR:  There will be FIFTEEN divisions graduating Nov. 30th.  RTC is abiding by the policy that Active Duty/military retirees and children twelve and under do not count toward the 4 invitations each recruit receives. However, if an individual is not on the access list they will NOT be able to enter the drill hall (NO stand by).  Please plan on arriving at least two hours before the ceremony, which begins promptly at 9 a.m.  Thanks to all for your continued support of Recruit Training Command, the Navy's only boot camp!
Has any one received a letter from this group my husband wrote to his mom mom he said it was the 18th he was getting his teeth fixed and that he wouldn't be able to write till the week end. I was getting worried with others getting letters but sounds like the 21st was first written day. And didn't seem he had gotten my letters.
I got my first letter today was mail out on 10/22.
Can someone please help me, I'm looking for the mom of the SR that was taken to the hospital after receiving their immunizations. My son was there with him and he is asking about him? I would like to be able to tell him about his health status. My son is SR BUCCA and he is in SHIP 02 DIV 903

Got 7 letters today!!! My daughter Melissa ( 903) LOVES it! I am so relieved...was a little sad her mail was delayed..she got hers later than other, but hopefully when she she's the dates she'll realize we were writing from day 1!
