Any other mom's out there with SR's in this group?  Did ya'll get the "call" or was it just my son afraid to call after 10:00 pm? Geez he should have known that no calls after 10 rule was for his friends!  I don't think I was ever so happy to get a bunch of dirty clothes in the mail when the box came though and when the form letter came it was a comfort!  At least I know he's not running around Chicago naked!  Well everybody try to keep your chins up and nose blown...it won't be tooo long until PIR!  GO NAVY

Whew reservations made at the Ramada...Now to find a good kennel for my other boy...

Got a phone call from my husband yesterday! It was the 3 weeks call so we got to speak for a very long time :). Hope you all got calls as well..I believe it was the whole division who got to make phone calls !

My SR called yesterday too!  I've been walking on sunshine and with the goofiest grin since.. It was so good to hear his voice!  I really can't wait till July 6!  However he warned me that he would only get a couple of hours before he had to be  back on base to prepare to ship out to A school!  Oh well I'll just take my advice to him and keep taking one day at a time.  Hope everybody got to hear from their SR.. GO NAVY

I also got my phone call yesterday around 2:30pm.  He sounded great and said he was doing just fine.  I was so happy to actually talk to him.

My son is in this DIV! it was so wonderful to talk to him yesterday, he is doing well, probably better than his mom! Counting down to PIR! We have our reservations for lodging now have to get the airline tickets!

My son is in this group.  We have our hotel booked, car rental reserved and plane tickets purchased.  Now we are just counting the days - only 28.   My son called a week ago, and he was having a hard time, but he had alot of things he had to work through.   Then I received my 3rd letter this past Thursday, and our talk on Saturday encouraged him and he sounds better and is doing better. He has made quite a few "new buds" and they will be going w/ him to the same "A" school in CT.   I am looking forward to meeting everyone.   There are 3 meet and greets on July 5, does anyone know if one is better than the other?  Be blessed.

I received 3 letters yesterday.  YAY!.. OH and my SR said "our" division was told they were the best at MarlinSpike in the last two years!  Our guys rock!   I am soooo Proud, he made it through week 4 and passed all inspections, tests and the PFA (that was the one he really stressed over)!  All with the barracks cough ( I wonder if that's like kennel cough)!

Lets hear it for our SR's   HOOYAH!   July 6th is coming up fast, just not fast ENOUGH!

Battlestations this next week! Keep your phones close and let us know if you hear from your SR / "New Sailor"!!

Beener:  All of the MeetandGreets have their own "flair" but SARGEs will have the most info for you.  My guess is that it the one where most are.  It is located near the Walmart shopping center, where Springhill Suites, Courtyard, Candlewood Suites, Residence Inn are located....nearby.

If anyone got confirmation from your SR over the weekend on the night of BattleStations for 207/208, please friend request/message me.  I have a date...just want to see if it is confirmed.  Thanks!
