Mine is doing well. So far he has earned his dolphins and advanced to E4 and loving what he's doing. Right now he is deployed some where under the sea. Hard to believe 2 years have gone by already!
My son graduated A School in San Antonio for MA (Master at Arms) and is now stationed at PAX River, Maryland. He just started his actual work yesterday and loves it. He's close to home, too. We live in PA, so it's only about a 4 1/2 - 5 hr drive. He loves that he can still come home on weekends and we are loving it too!! The Navy has been the best decision he's made. Best of luck to all of our Sailors!!
Wow, thanks for the responses on updating. My sailor is still in Chicago and will graduate in February of 2013. He's going in to "fire control". We are so excited for him as this really was the best decision he has ever made. Not sure where he will be based at after that. Good luck to all your sailors.
My daughter is still in San Antonio but graduates from A school November 6th and will be going to Guam at end of November! She is so excited to have another Navy Adventure!!!
We just returned from Connecticut where our son graduated BESS at the top of his class. HOOYA!! He's waiting to class-up for the next part.
How about some updates on your sailors. Would love to hear from all of you about where they are headed and what has been going on since graduation. We received the wrong Keel book and found out that it happened to a few others, so if you have the wrong book, please contact the photo lab at: 1-847-578-6205 they are reprinting more books and will be sending them out to those who got the wrong ones. Hope to hear from all of you. Kathy
