Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 001 and 002

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hi 11/13 moms. We're moving up to the top of the list! Wow. Exciting. Div 001 moms, Everybody kinda impatiently patiently hanging in there with no phone calls!? At this point I am definitely going with the no calk is good news. Wudnt want to get the I've been held back call. And I think we'll be getting one at end if battle stations to give good news, soo that's not too far away. Maybe no calls between now and then!?? But I still keep my phone glued to me!! I don't remember if we can send newspaper clippings? I know bout the black in hands from paper concern, but is it allowed? Anyone working on gifts, door banners, restaurant plans? Care to share? I've ordered a cpl challenge coins, and watch. Trying to figure out banner plans. Have a nice day.
Texasmom, I am with you that at this point no call is probably a good thing. I still have my phones glued to me as well, but I am hanging in there and patiently waiting. We didn't receive any letter so far this week either which was hard. I had not thought of banners or things. Guess I am a little unprepared. I just can't wait to see him so I guess I haven't thought of much else but probably should.

My husband is a huge cowboy fan not sure if you. If so go Cowboys!
Jersey mom , good to hear from you. Ha. No not a cowboys fan. Were originally from Chicago area so we've got some best fans and packer fans in our home. You know any other div 001 moms?
Actually mine is in Div 002. Don't know any of the moms other than the other jerzeymom. We share the same kid. Lol. He is my stepson so she and I have been sharing any resources we can find to get through this tough 8 weeks. We are almost there. I still can't believe he is in the navy!

My SR is in Div 001. Recieved a letter today. Hell week Oct 19. Group and individual pics taken Wednesday. Test #2 was Thursday, Oct 22, all 001 passed.  Also ended hell week. Week 5 began Friday, Oct 23, with blood drive, but only some types were allowed to give.  Week of Oct 26 brought firefighting and gas chamber.  Getting closer!

My SR is from Ship 003 Division 002. I got a letter today! No calls yet. hoping for one this Saturday!?

Sarita, Jerseymom, Only son Navy bound, & any other  Ship 003 & Div.1 or 2 Mom's: Hi Ladies!!! My son is in the same ship & Division as your SR's. His initials are CM. I am writing him a new letter & was thinking of asking him f he knows your SR's. If you let me know their initials I can ask him. Just a thought or you can ask your SR's if they know him! I told him that I check in DAILY to see what the other Moms are going through so I don't feel like the lone cry baby Mom!

My daughter's initials are I.G. (first then last) I'm not sure what format you needed. SR G, I. (Last then first) I look forward to meeting you ladies as well.

Congratulations to your SR for the ribbon! My son said that he is ready to pass his last PFA & battle stations & move on to the next Level! My youngest son & my SR's BFF Kellee will be at Sarge's. Can't wait to for all of us Mom's to meet in person. I'm writing my letter now & will ask if he knows an RC. It'd be cool if the SR's & Sr Moms are all pre- acquainted!
