Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 019 & 020

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hey Lorie Lee I also have a son that is on Ship 3 Div 020, I also finally received my first letter from him and hopefully his wife will receive one really soon, I know she is missing him as much as I am. I know his lil guy is missing him also. He has a son that is 6 months old and a new wife so I know that it is really hard on her too. Hope to keep in touch so that we can compare their progess thur their new adventure in life. I plan on being at the PIR hope to see you there

Rosie no letters here my son has been gone for 4 1/2 weeks. Something happened we got a phone call saying he was set back two weeks. No idea why, we are very worried about him. We hope that maybe next week we will get a letter. I am glad you have received a letter did he say how his division was doing as a whole?? anything about being able to make phone calls??

Lorie-Lee that has to be really hard not knowing anything. Praying you find out something more soon! My daughter is the same ship and division as your son and she sounded hopeful that they would get a call next week sometime - of course that all depends.

Hey, Lorie-Lee, I'm glad to see another mom added to the same ship as my son.  My son left on

9/27 from NJ.  Just received a letter from his yesterday.

Hi Pats mom see above post to Rosie...and share what did he say?? does he like it?? what is he doing?? PT, swim test??

Oh thank goodness how is he doing??

Kim, our daughters are in the same division and we got our first letter today. She said some of the same things your daughter did. Glad they are all doing good. I think it was this past Monday on the PT test because my daughter mentioned in was the next day and she wrote on the 14th. Wish they could write every day like us. I have a million questions to ask her. ;)

So good to see so many with loved ones in these divisions! At first I didn't see very many but now it looks like there's quite a few of us. I hope all of you who haven't received your "real" letters get one today. I expected ours to come on Thursday and when it didn't I thought maybe she didn't have time to write and figured it would be another week. It was a nice surprise to come home and find a letter in the mailbox yesterday. Counting down the days to PIR - may they pass quickly!

I finally got a letter from my daughter. It was wonderful hearing from her.

Yay for letters! :D

Phone calls for some start in about a week or so.

Cherlbri00 my husband is on ship 3 div 020 and I got a letter today from my husband. So hopefully you will get one soon.
