For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

In the letter I got my boyfriend wrote that he was excited to be on Ship 4. And he also wrote that he got recruit crud :( but he also said he is feeling better now. I hope he gets my letters soon! I sent so many to the wrong Ship and zip code! :(

Yeah my boyfriend is kinda strange. He wanted boot camp to be intense and I guess he got it. In his letters he said it was pretty boring so far. I hope your boyfriend adjusts well to the ways of this ship. :)

Mine said it was boring too! He said they started pt Friday which was sadly fun because they sit around all day.

Hey all, My son is DIV-021 also. So is that SHIP-04 now? If so then does the zipcode change also? Hope he gets the 3 letters I've already sent. Confusing.

when I got my letter yesterday from my son I also noted the change of ship and zip code. I called his recruiter and he said that was not unusual and to use the new address my son sent. he did say the letters we sent to the other ship number will get to him but in the future will get to him faster if we use the 04 ship number. Also, my son did mention that the ship is usually for special warfare so things are a little tougher but he said he is fine and can handle it so I hope all the boys have that same out look and are doing well. It was so nice to finally hear from him

We got a letter from our son today and my husband even got a phone call cause our sailor needed some information sent to him. It was a huge relief. Does anyone know how to get more passes for the pir or is anyone not using all theirs?

from everything I have read there is no way to get more passes. they can only put 4 people on the list period. You can bring more people with you and if there are seats available they will allow them to come in but there is no guarantee.
