Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 263 and 264

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hey Navymom kittykat...

Yes, he can purchase a phone card at bc. Mine had to b/c he couldn't get the one I sent to activate. Something about they only use at&t at bc. He should've called by now unless he just hasn't had the time... or couldn't grab a phone...

Hello everyone I hope all is well. It feels like time is flying Aug.7th will be here before we know it hang in there lady's!

glad time is flying by .... looking fw seeing my SR, miss him terribly, glad his siblings try keep me busy...

Today was a GREAT day! I received a letter from my recruit and he sounds like he is handling it all in stride. I also received a phone call from my other sailor son stationed in Washington state and we talked for a hour and a half!! It was good to laugh and talk with him. I can hardly wait to see his little brother and carry on with him after the PIR.

Won't be long.. PIR IS coming quick! I know I wasn't expecting a call this weekend I have gotten two already but it would have been nice! Haha

I'm starting to think there is no div 264.... I have not found anyone else with an SR in 264. On the NRT page, there were pix of USSHopper but others said it was div 251 ....? Stumped... my husband thinks maybe our kid is just fishin up there....?

Hello, my son is Ship USS HOPPER and I saw him in the pictures so it was div 263 and I know they said they are brother divisions!
Good, I'm glad you got to see your SR. I couldn't find my daughter in any of the pictures. (A little bummed). But it was good to see picks of her Shipmates! I will assume she was at watch duty...
Yeah maybe she was on watch. But they also say they won't post any pics of SR's smiling or being silly so someone mite have messed it up for her group.Stay positive PIR will be here before you know it.

Yes, I saw 263 & thought that 264 has got to be there somewhere! But it wasn't... it would be nice to see my boy! :( I'm sure missing him! PIR can't come soon enough...!

If I understand correctly... the use hopper is the ship like ship 3. The division is the 3 digits like 263 or 264.

Example'-----I think some Sr are mixed. Ship 3 may have div 264,265 263 900's. And ship 4 may have a 265 259.
Again these are just random numbers to explain the situation.
Not that much longer to go..I finally received another letter from my son and he is doing well and said they made it through H@$l week.I can't wait until August 7th.
