Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 321 and 322

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I haven't yet. The only things I have received is my daughter's box and the letter with all the important info. I am going crazy right now. I know she is vine, but not having the communication is killing me.

No phone calls or letters from my son..... Maybe this weekend?

i keep hoping as well. it's killing me to not know or to hear my daughters voice. Even the animals are going crazy.

WOOHOO got a letter today!

Congrats!   I hope more letters are on their way.

Hello, I'm Tracey and mom of a son in division 321!! We just booked our airline tickets from CA to ORD!! We are arriving 9/24...just so there are no delays, etc...plus gives us a chance to be tourists!!

We had a daughter do this same thing 2 years ago...so looking forward to hugging him. Last time our daughter spent Friday with us after the grad, got to stay with us at the hotel friday night/spent all day Sat with us, then reported back to the base sat night...then we got to meet her at the airport sunday and spend her "waiting" time with her and all who were traveling with her to Maryland...for a few hours...then hugged and said good bye during A school...I'm hoping we get the same time with my son...it is precious time and goes oh so quickly. We aren't flying home until monday just so we get all the time we may possibly have with him.

Got his box of clothes and the form letter but nothing more...hoping for both this weekend!! Can't wait to meet you all

Not happening this time Traceykj, all recruits must be back on base Friday evening since 2011 (If I remember correctly).

Those Sailors flying out for A School will pack up their things and head to the airport shortly after midnight. You can go to the airport, meet your Sailor and get a gate pass that will allow you to go and wait at the gate until his plane leaves..

Is that head to the airport after midnight for all A schoolers. My sailor is going to Nuke School. Will that be what we should expect? No time on Saturday? He is in Div 322

Oh my goodness moms of ship 3 division 321....we just got our first letter from him and it was 8 pages...surprised us!!

But...i wanted to let you know that in the form letter he gave us a different street address then in this letter...our mailing address to him is no longer ohio street but now is

ship 03, division 321

3505 Sailor Drive (before he had told us 3600 ohio street)

Great Lakes, IL 60088

Anyhow my daughter said as long as ship and division are on there and his name the letter will find him.

Oh...and my daughter reminded me she didn't spend the night with us...we took her back:(

I got a letter today!   My daughter says, "I'm OK and I'm having fun".  So glad to hear from her today.

Lots of letters. Doing well passing everything but got an infection from wisdom teeth being pulled.

HEADS UP!!!!!

Div 322 making calls tomorrow. 8/29. Keep phones close & charged!!

did anyone of you receive a phone call last weekend?

We're sure praying they get to make one this weekend.

We did just get two letters from him...felt like Christmas!! Woohoo!

Have any of you heard, that have a corpsman, where they will be going to A school?
