Do we know the same SR???

Yes haha i thought it was you Marilou. This site is kinda confusing havnt figured it out yet.

NavyBallerina it could be 8 - 12 weeks. It depends on how many divisions will be combined as a class. There is a division ahead of you, so it will be longer for them. Injuries, slow test times, and class size may be the reason to be rolled into the next class. This will add to their time in prebuds.

I just heard if they were really good and the chiefs and such thought they were ready it would be six weeks. and if not they would stay up to another 6 weeks.

Hello Roxiegirl!  Thank you so much for your support!  We need it! Regarding rewarded calls, I think I was picking up on that, another reason to be proud  :)  More sacrifices for all, this is how we get through these things... with more responsibility comes more sacrifice. When my children were growing up I always used to say "with more privilege comes more responsibility".

LADIES!!!!!! AS I TYPE, WE HAVE 4 WEEKS LEFT!!!!!!  27 DAYS 23+HRS UNTIL WE SEE OUR SAILORS.  I CAN'T WAIT.  I know each and everyone of you are excited as we are.  In the meantime, I hope  we all receive many, many letters from our loves.  Praying our guys stay safe.  Have a wonderful weekend.

YAY!!!! Flights, hotel and car booked.  Going to work on my ribbon this weekend.  I am not so crafty so it may take the whole 4 weeks lol.  Are we doing first names or last names?  I know they all know each other by last name.  No calls this week, but a lot of great letters!

bryandi,

Where will you be traveling from?  We're coming from TN. Feels good to get travel arrangements booked doesn't it?  We're flying in Thursday to Midway & staying at the Ramada, departing on Monday.  I don't want to miss a possible minute with our Sailor =D. We received one letter this week, zero calls. Maybe we will have a letter tomorrow, I so hope so!!!! His Birthday is tomorrow =D. As far as the ribbons, we did the last name with division #.  I've seen them with the 1st name Or Proud Mom of ____. I was lazy and purchased ours from Lala.

I am traveling from AZ.  Flying into MKE Thursday and staying at the Gateway until Monday.  2/10 can't get here soon enough, this has been so much harder than I ever could have imagined.  The letters are keeping me going, my SR/husband is really good about writing, don't know how he finds the time but I have been getting about 4 letters per week. Even though some are short they mean the world.  This group has been great to help answer all of the questions I have had.  Hope to get to meet everyone Thursday night or at PIR.

Has anyone gotten word about Battlestations?  I have seen where a couple of other 2/10 PIR divisions already have their date.

JK Happy Birthday to your son. Maybe you can make it up to him during PIR weekend.

I still have my Ribbon from LaLa, she does a wonderful job.

Good Morning Ladies,

I hope we ALL recieve many letters this week & a phone call would be AWESOME!!!!!! However, I keep reminding myself, even now, "no news is good news."  Here's a midweek challenge.....include a recent article from your SR's fav sports team or figure in this weeks letters.  We are 22, twenty-two......TWENTY-TWO days away from seeing our Sailors!!!!!!   I keep reminding myself.....it's NOT about me, it's about keeping our SR's motivated and encouraged. I can only imagine the things in everyday life they are missing.  However, I know this a STRONG desire for our guys to accomplish.

2/10/2012 04/805 Navy Mom's we are 21 days from meeting face to face at the Meet & Greets.....Already praying for safe travels to and from GL's for all. Also, praying the weather is mild in February for our travels.

I return to work Thursday for 6 nights 12 hr shifts......with that being said.  I will have limited computer access for those days and I will be so tired I could probably care less about the computer.  I have spent the last few days off from work working off nervous energy organizing our kitchen cabinets and starting to clean our bonus room (aka....storage/dump).  It's just amazing all the stuff you think you need or will use. Let's just say I'm learning to declutter & Goodwill has seen more of me this week.  LOL....as I type I start visualizing the show "Hoarders".....LOL it's totally NOT like that.   So, when it appears that I can't control when we receive letters and calls from our SR.....I can still be productive. .

Hooyah......Have a great day.
