I had to reply to your comment, that was my son who had to do " burpes" he wanted me to take out his best friends mother for sending that card !! LOL* he said it was kinda funny afterwards..... Thought I would share*******

@ Chrissy-LOL, my SR asked me to post on Facebook NEVER NEVER send music cards.  So I get his letter this week and he mentions that the other day he received a large envelope from his uncle and Bam, they were on him like lighting because they thought it was one of "those cards" and they were going to make him do bear craws around the compartment until the battery died.  They were very disappointed to see that it was just a wedding invitation.

Hi Jaimers,

Letter day for me is Wednesday too!  I have never dashed to the mail box that fast before.  May 11th can't come fast enough for us......looking forward to seeing all of you fine ladies at PIR.

Hello.....My son is in ship 4 division 812.  PIR on 5-11.  What a crazy few weeks this has been for me and you i imagine.  Interesting enough, I thought I was prepared; watched him train everyday for 8 months...., and bam, gone.  Then the roller coaster of emotions hit.  Anyway, looking forward to PIR.....  Anyway, see you at PIR.

Linda

Hi Jaimers,

Me too!  This is a great support, and man I need this.  Always nice to commiserate with like mined folks.

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me what needs to be done to get the parking pass?  I know the time is coming up when we can get it, but can't remember where I saw what we need to do.  Any help would be much appreciated!

Can't wait until this week's letter.  My son's birthday is the 26th, so hard not to be together to celebrate.  I will pray for all you mom's who also don't have their sons with them on their special day.  I think I saw two others in this group.  Happy birthday to your sons!

@ JMom ... I have only received the I am here call..so I am hoping for a call soon lol ...I think the week they where able to call out he had his wisdom teeth pulled and was SIQ so I am ready for a call from my son soon  ...I am the same way with my phone !! lol ...yes i am waiting patiently myself... as the saying goes "no news is good news".

Today is  LETTER DAY!!!!   I cant wait !!!

As soon as anyone finds out info on BATTLE STATIONS for our boys please post ! Thank you

From what I found on the web, Battlestations should be next week and it's from 8pm to 8am.  2 divisions to 4 divisions at a time and they generally go with their sister division.  I've asked my son who his sister division is, but he doesn't generally answer the questions I send him.  Also it runs Mon - Thurs and with there being 12 divisions, I'm sure the regular divisions will go first and probably 812 will go on the last rotation/night.  That's just my guess though.  I found a lot of  information through the navydads.com website including a really good slideshow on it.
