Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Comment by CMD on February 9, 2016 at 9:36am: Thanks Yvette. Congrats on your son as well. Submarine life takes a certain personality! Does he have Internet access or anyway to contact him? I like Mayport very much. My hubs is Army and I am jealous of all the nice Naval bases in vacation spots! We are in Germany now so can't complain about that:)

Comment by CMD on February 9, 2016 at 5:25am: I am! My son has been in Mayport these last almost-4 years. He's reenlisting this week(so happy about that). He's been on 2 deployments - one to the Arabian Sea and the other on a NATO-flagged 'European Cruise' lol. He's truly seen the world and we are very proud. He is an E5 and next assignment this summer is in San Diego.

Comment by Smile09 AD/HM Mom on April 2, 2013 at 8:10pm: We are still here:) My kiddo is stationed at LeMoore, CA - he is an AD, he builds and rebuilds jet engines. He may get deployed within the next 6 months. We are waiting to hear! #2 Son is leaving for bootcamp in a few months.

It is hard having limited contact but 2 more months!! Already planning a summer trip to visit him. I can't wait! So many things changed in this past year! Still holding on during this crazy ride. I know your son is anxious since he has finished school. Hugs to you!!
