Hi Kimstn - My son is in Ship 11 / Div 142 too.  I will be at PIR.  Can't wait.  Hope to meet you!

I'm game! As soon as I figure out how to get there and pay for it!!!

I'm going to PIR!!!!!!!!!

Hey Dani and JenniferG-

I am glad to see you both will be attending.  there are 5 of us coming (only 4 to actual PIR), but the one daughter didn't want to miss seeing him during any liberty he might get to spend with family, so she is flying with us and then we'll pick her up after PIR at the hotel.  Reminds me I need to be looking at those too!

Hopefully we can all go to one of the Meet/Greet events on that they seem to have each week.  Would love to meet you ladies after all the weeks we will be spending together here at N4Ms!! :-)

Talk to you soon - let me hear when you start getting letters from your SR's!!!!

Kimstn & JenniferG - I reserved my hotel already.  I wasn't sure if they book up quickly.  I don't have to fly so it is much easier for me to get around for PIR.  I would love to meet you at a Meet & Greet.  We will have to try and make plans when we get a little closer to PIR.  Can't wait for our first letters!  Hope we get more people to join us soon.

Hey, was just passing through and read that you had 5 going to see your SR. Although only 4 spots are reserved for family, your fifth member may still be able to get into the PIR ceremony. She just may have to wait until everyone else on "the list" has been accommodated and see if there are seats still available. Sometimes though, they'll just let the 'extras' in with the rest of the family. Good luck to your recruit!!

thanks!  I had read that and that is why we decided to take her and hope she could get in.  If not, at least she is there to visit him if he gets any liberty. Just didn't want to leave her out completely.

Thanks again! kim

My son's name is CHristopher.  I am mailing him address labels today.  Can I send him any for your SRs?

Hey JenniferG - I just sent my SR some envelopes, paper and stamps last week.  I didn't send him labels since I sent him with an address book and he will be writing to goodness knows how many different people while he is gone.

thanks though for asking! very generous of you!

I just noticed how NEAT his form letter envelope was and just KNEW it will take 90% of his letter writing time to print all that again.  SO I made return address labels for him and then a set for us, his sister, grandpa, and the few friends that asked for his address.

I;m sending thing daily so if anyone needs, just let me know!!

Could everyone list their SR's name for me?  I want to ask my son if he knows anyone.

Just found out one of the young men that shipped with my son is also in this ship/division.  his wife saw me on rtc fb page and friended me.  I told her to join us here for support.  she will be driving to PIR so we need to include her in our meet/greet.  I am so far behind on chattng/posting with you all.  Sorry for being more absent than present - lots going on with the two kids still at home and the husband, dog and other stuff.  I am sure you all know what I mean.

Will try to be back later to catch up more!!!

Kim
