Hello, everyone. Getting real excited about PIR. Bought airline tickets earlier today. Our youngest son graduates 5/11. He's a nuke. Got the form letter Friday. Hoping for our first "real" letter from him soon.

My son is Ship 12 Div 150 and graduates 5/11.  I also received the form letter last week but haven't received a "real" letter either.  I can't wait to hear from him!

Hi, Rhonda. We're still haunting the post office. Nothing yet. Entering their 3rd week. I found a site that outlined the training schedule. Week 3: first aid techniques, signalling with flags, proper procedure to board and disembark a ship, basic seamanship aboard a real ship in a hanger, the first PT test (1.5 mile run, push-ups and sit-ups). Hope they can find the time to write! LOL

I just heard from my son on Tuesday - he was able to call and I just happen to be at my desk at work so did get to talk to him.  He sounded great - said Sunday was the first day their Division had time to write.  He has been receiving our letters and he said they mean so much - so keep them coming.  I bet you will get a letter soon!  Their Ship is the USS Triton

That's awesome!!  It's such a great feeling.

So happy for you! I feel so much better having an actual letter I can hold and read and re-read. They are halfway there!

Yea!!!

My son is on Ship 12, Div 150 and his form letter went to his father.since that was where he was living when he enlisted.  We are divorced.  Does anyone know if the parking code on his form letter will print for 2 vehicles to enter the parking lot?

Oh, geez, I hope so! We'll be in two vehicles, too!

Okay, so what I hear is that "yes" two parking passes can be printed as long as there is someone on the guest list in each car.
We got a call from our son yesterday, too!! It was amazing! He sounds great, and we got to talk for so long :) I hit record on the phone and keep listening to our conversation. This call does a lot to help pass the next 3 weeks!

Where do you find the trivia question? It probably is too late now, but it would be great to see them!

Yeah...I have been checking the RTC facebook for weeks without seeing 150. Didn't know about the trivia question/photo contest. Thanks for the info :)
