Darlene, my Cody is there for IT also!! They must be in same school. Where are y'all from? I know Cody's roomy is from CA, but I don't know his name. I do not know if Cody has C school next or not....out of the loop again and dont get many emails, texts, or calls still..ha! At least I can send them :)
Donna
Well, I just heard from him when I asked him about knowing a "Sean" ...he text right back to see if it was a friend of his but did not know ur last name. I sent u pm friend request. That is right...Cody initially signed up for 4 years, so no C school. Sean is more mature so less taken for granted prob :) Cody just turned 20 in April during BC. We live in TX and I teach so almost summer break and we are headed to FL for a week! So excited as my "baby" graduatesvon Friday and then headed off to college in OK. I think we will be on the road often! So glad to have the connection with you. Have a great week.

Glad your Sailors are doing well...just a remark on the clean rooms...they have room inspections, still have personal inspections...they will take the PFA twice a year for their career and must pass it..."Boot Camp" is over...but some of it will continue on! LOL

Though I am sure later on ...they can relax a little bit on the rooms! Well...IDK...maybe not! My Hubby (AF Reserves) went to Iraq last year...he sent home pics of his CHU (Contained Housing Unit...I had to think on that one...it's still a "hootch" to me! LOL) to a friends daugheters grade school class...and one of the little girls asked how come it was messy! She said. "I thought they had to keep it CLEAN?"

Hey, he said he knew where everything was and he passed all of his inspections! Yup, even on deployment there are inspections!

Too Funny! I hear ya!

Yes, double them please!
FTLW...so good to see you and Snoopy here!
I give my last finals tomorrow! Life is good! Have a great week everyone! My "baby" graduates Friday. One more emotional graduation then time to celebrate, relax, and be thankful for my blessings!
So been to NAS RV park for 5 days and now at Gulf Shores State Park! We survived the huge rain storms and are now enjoying the beautiful beaches. So proud of these sailors and love seeing them when they get out of class when we pick up our son for visits :). The bases are nice and the Naval Museum was awesome. I am thankful for the study groups and the friendships these guys are making. Very proud!

Glad you got to visit!  Rain is pretty typical for this time of year:)  We enjoyed our time immensely.  Looking forward to see him in a few weeks!  Hope you are well!

Hi everyone! We are back from our trip :(. Love vacation, but hate when it is over! Amy...we had 15" in one day...it was a record since the 40's or 30's!! It was still ALL great and my sailor got his leave approved to come back with us for the weekend and take his car back. Hope that does not become a problem, but they seem to go and come often so at least he will not have to pay for taxis anymore. I hope everyone is doing great. Tests seem to be hard but going well...I hope that is really true! Reading posts from mommas juat sendingnkids to BC...makes me sad for them, but it truly seems ages ago! We were pretty strong through that, right?! Ha, not really, I think we were all a basket case. Had a friend that said Cody had posted "Have a great job, girl, and friends...so thankful to God for all He has given me.". Awww...God is good and thanks for raising your awesome sons that are friends with my son!

WOW, lotsa rain!!  Happy to hear you had a great time.  I saw some pics on FB of your sailor and his girl:) Very pretty.  He seems to be doing very well, you should be proud! (I know you are.)  I'm heading up there in a couple of weeks to pick up my sailor for his first "leave."  We only get him for 4 days, but I will take what I can get.  Have a beautiful day!
