Boot Camp Mom's Prayer

God bless my recruit as he meets this day

I pray that he has the strength to find his way

As reveley wakes him so loud and clear

I pray your love will lead him, and he will show no fear

If there's danger and if there's strife

Please send Angels to guard his life

Keep him safe and hold him near

Bless my recruit, I hold him dear

Until he moves on to PIR day

Bring peace to our hearts

And strength to our faith

(Many thanks to our own 'teeny' for sharing!)

PS The other meet and greet is at Flanagan's from 5-10.

i think that is a great idea chris's mom.  but i think alot of us arent coming in til thursday afternoon. we need to figure something out though.

Good to hear from you chris's mom! How are you feeling? I'm with teeny not getting there till the afternoon. I would LOVE to have coffee or something with just the 813 moms!

Sorry for not writing more recently ladies-- it's been a wicked crazy last couple of weeks for me with work. :) Didn't get a letter from my SR this week but my dad and his girlfriend did-- would've loved to hear from him myself but if I couldn't get a letter I'm happy that my dad and his girlfriend did. :)

  • What is the Hall of Fame award (sounds self-explanatory but you never know)?
  • I'm up for coffee too-- but won't get there until Thursday afternoon unfortunately.
  • It's going to be really nice to put screen names, actual names and faces together as we all go thru this!
  • How are we going to 'recognize' each other at the meet/greet at Sarge's? I believe someone said something about a banner for the division? Perhaps something else would be a symbol instead that we could all look for that is very portable (since I believe most of us aren't local)? Off the top of my head, what about a small blue candle that each of us can bring that night?
  • As a group do we want to order ribbons?

18 days to go ladies!!!

I almost forgot, just an FYI. My SR wrote in his letter that they are in the running for the ''Hall of Fame" award. He said "There is no competition, they are blowing  everyone out of the water" but in order for them to get this they HAVE to start working harder as "one single gear". Please lets all pray that they all work together as one unit. They have worked way to hard not to get this!!!!!!

Chris'sMom-- you always have a nice prayer/thought to share. I want to thank you for that! :)

chris;s mom that sounds like a plan.  we need to be on here at the same time so we can chat and figure it out

they need to get it together so we can get some phone calls

Would sure love to get a call-- I'm with you teeny!

Morning ladies

18 more days and counting...can't come soon enough for me and I do hope that the weekend (5/18) drags and that these days fly by...,

ditto on the phone call and hopefully a letter this week.

I love coffee and would love to have coffee with everyone, also getting in Thursday afternoon though.

I placed an order yesterday with Lala for the ribbons for PIR, waiting for confirmation.

Everyone have a great day.

I think the blue candle thing is a great idea for thursday night at sarges.  If we are going to do ribbons then i need to get on the ball cuz i will need to order 7 of them.  what website is lala the ribon queen.

it is uniquememorymakers on fb....i ordered mine<3
