Welcome to the discussion group for division 822.

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina and a couple more ladies will be joining you to answer your questions about this "800" division. Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

how do you do that cute lil bunny?

no letter for me today either :( has had a rough 2 days. just missing him. but if feels good to get in a good cry. it helps get it all out. today is our 4yr 8month anniversary and i just miss him. feels lost without him, iv wanted to curl up in a ball and sleep off all this time and wake up in october. but i have gotten the opportunity to go to the UGA game this saturday with my brother. it just dont feel right without him here. but i know i need to do SOMETHING. even tho it just feels wrong. ugh bad day! :(

no letter for me either..maybe the division didn't get time this week to write letters....too many of us batting zero and that is really odd. let's keep our fingers crossed that tomorrow brings letters and smiles to us. :)

Hi Jessica. You are probably right. I still have hopes for tomorrow though. My SR is our son. I haven't been on this site long but I can tell you it has been helpful to have contact with other women with loved ones in BC.

Thanks SO MUCH for finding this video and posting it for us! Thanks for all the ladies who come here to share, I know for me this has been a tough experience. My son enlisted last Oct and originally wanted air traffic control and his ship date was 5/8, then he decided he wanted to go for AIRR, and they pushed his ship date back to 8/13. So I had a long time to prepare myself mentally and emotionally for this... but on 8/12 when I dropped him off at that motel, I felt like my heart had just been ripped out of my chest. I raised my son by myself, and we've always been very close, I guess no amount of time truly prepares you for this kind of separation... and he has already made up his mind to do at least 20 yrs. It's a wonderful decision he's made, and I am SO PROUD of him for making it, but I feel like once he gets stationed I just want to move to wherever he will be, every time he moves!!! Anyway, I didn't get a letter this week either, but at least we only have 21 more days before we get to see our NEW MEN!!! It can't get here fast enough.

Thanks for the video. Much appreciated :-)

Thanks Cor!

Hi RuthY. That is what is great about this site. I would love to have gotten a phone call myself, lol, but it's great to get on here and still feel connected through someone else. At least now I know they finished Hell Week and are starting week 5. Congrats to your son :-). It isn't gloating, it's being proud. I'm glad you shared.

Hey Ruth! I feel so much better now. I am glad you got a call from your son...  :) you are not gloating. By your son being able to call, we all have an update, so it's a GOOD thing, a blessing.

Have a great day y'all!! 20 days. :)

No letter here either.. A little sad when I drove home from the post office..

Thank you RuthY for sharing with us.. Glad you got a call..

We only have 21 days..

My SR just called his brother - yeah on him getting to call, but boo that he called someone else.  Oh well, right, at least he gets to call. Found out the deal on why none of us have received letters though.  Seems as though someone keeps messing up (writing when they should be doing something else) so all the letters that are ready to be mailed get torn up.  My SR said that he has had 3 letters to me and several to others that have been torn up because of someone not doing what they were supposed to be doing.  He didn't say who - which is fine, but tell your SR's their Mama's need letters, so get it together boys!

Otherwise, he said he is doing well, though he has been a bit sick.  That seems to be going around.  He said they just finished Hell Week, which he said wasn't nearly as bad as he thought it would be - really just more of the same stuff they had been doing.  Said he has passed all of his tests with no problems so will definitely be graduating on time.  They were supposed to have 3 hours of Navy Rest but for some reason only get 1 - he didn't elaborate, but he was going to call his other brother, so maybe there will be more information after I talk to that son.

Melissa,  Thanks for the update...So glad your SR got a call..

Hope these boys get it together..
