Welcome to the discussion group for division 822.

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina and a couple more ladies will be joining you to answer your questions about this "800" division. Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

Good morning all! It's Thursday, my new favorite day of the week. I hope everyone hears from their SR today.

Yay! I got a letter. My SR is doing well. He's been dealing with shin splints since the 3rd week but he's passed his PST's and  everything so far. I also got the Divison ribbons that we ordered. The only thing that could make this day better would be a phone call. I don't think that will happen yet but....... fingers crossed :-).

Does anyone know anything about the area up there and where to get a good pizza? That is all he's asked for while we are there.

Looking for a Hard Rock Cafe in Chicago_  that is where my son wants to eat!!! Hope to get our DIV. ribbons before we leave home. I ordered late. Looking forward to Sarge's Thursday night!!!

Thank you for the suggestions Cor. We'll definitely check them out.

no letter for me yesterday but after having an hour long call on Sat, I didn't expect one. Got my ribbons so I am Happy about that. Can't believe next week at this time we will be gathering for PIR. The time has flown!! Our div must have had some free time yesterday to pay for pics/shirts etc. b/c I saw charges on my bank account. Last thing for the boys to get though is BS-21 and I know they are all going to do great!!! See y'all next week.

I just got a call from my SR. He is in Recruit Heaven today because their division won the "Captain's Cup". It was so good to hear from him and for him to sound proud and happy. I really hope everyone else gets a call as well. It sure does a mom's heart good :-)   and a dad's too. Less than a week ladies..... Yay!

got a phone call from my SR today! he got to go to recruit heaven again. he also said that the division is doing an amazing job thanks to their amazing RDCs, they are the best he says. that makes me happy! its getting closer and closer to PIR and i cannot wait. hope everyone is getting happy letters and happy calls! only 5 days ladies! hooyahh :)

MELISSA- i got to talk to your SR. he says we have a funny accent and i thought the same for him. im so glad our boys have gotten so close, they want us to plan to eat dinner somewhere prob that friday night. and for us to look up places close to the base and possibly make reservations. im so excited and looking forward to meeting everyone!

Well I am glad that other people are getting to talk with him - I had a call that showed an 847 area code, but no one was on the line when I picked up and there was not another call.  =(   His sister said she got to chat with him though, so at least I know he is alive and well.

Dinner sounds like a plan.  I will have my parents, daughter, son and soon-to-be daughter in law with me, so 7 in our party.  We are not picky eaters though my daughter is a vegetarian, so where ever is fine.  There was a link to a Chicago pizza place a page or so back on here which looked pretty good.  Since you talked with the boys I will leave it up to you to pick a place.

See you on Friday!

he was standing with my SR while he was on the phone with me, and he put him on the phone, they are having such a good time considering the circumstances. they ate a bunch of junk food today and they said they will prob get sick from it, but they dont have to work out again until monday battlestations. its going to be me, his mom, his dad, and his sister in our group. 4 total. we are not picky eaters, iv heard there is a really good pizza place and that sounds good to me, im sure the boys will just be glad to eat anything. im looking forward to it and i cannot wait! :) they should be able to call again on tuesday, so i hope you get a phone call then! stay in touch and i will private message you my number so when we get up there and we get lost or something we can have someone else to call :) hope everyone has had a good weekend and we will be seeing yall soon :)
