Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 379 and 380

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I don't know if they talk to each other.  What i heard is that that there's not much talking.

Lol...mine decided to write her boyfriend instead of mom...i was crushed yet happy to hear she was ok...
Are they still not getting along??..how long does that last??

I don't know but she dated some letters with the date, and some with "57 days" and I guess that means how long she has been in. She says she is sorry she cries but  the girls just do not listen. They get penalized for letter writing time, she would love to write more. Basically, boot camp isn't that bad. And she figured out to keep her boots laced really tight, and no blisters!

Now they are in training and she said she doesn't have time to write a long one, maybe sunday.

Good Morning. I pray today is My day and i get a letter from my son. I have my ups and downs at times. Two days ago I woke up with a pain in my right knee and started worrying about my SR. I started worrying he may have gotten hurt and worried  he would not be able to overcome this challenge. Then today I am already past worrying about him overcoming it, sure he is not hurt and confident will graduate. I am now  thinking about how I will get him home for Christmas from A school. Weird how I go from imagining the worst to thinking the best. I prayed the lord would take my worries away and that I was leaving it all in his hands. Now just waiting for my letter and seeing if my plan for my son is also God's plan.

Have a great day ladies. I look forward to all of us hearing from our SR's this week.

HanG In There Ladies The Letters Are Coming. Just WishTheY Was Getting Our mail

I saw somewhere that someone had received 4 letters from their SR. Maybe some of them got to write ahead of time. Hope i have something. So hard not knowing but also happy to know he has gotten this far in the process.

I got 4 letters today in 1 envelope but all written a few days apart.  It shows progress from the 1st to the last

Hi all, just got notes and letters from my girl!  Oh, it felt good. They were put on hold for a week or so, all they did was eat, study and eat again. Almost all meals were great!

Does anyone know if this group is private so RDC's can't see what we moan about?

Hi NavyMomMary-  My son is ship 4 div 380 also, I got my call on Sat. morning but no letters yet, my mailbox was totaly empty today :(  I am hoping I get a letter tomorrow or Sat.  I am really hoping he just writes! haha He is an amazing son and we are a close family but I am not sure about how many letters he is going to write, he is not really a letter writing kind of guy but hoping he is missing home and mom enough to write! lol  I am not sure of hte security of this site to write what ever??? One of the veteran moms might tell us!  I would love to hear what all your daughter had to say!

No letter for me either :( ...my daughters boyfriend received a letter today and he told me she was tired and its hard but she is striving to push forward...im hoping to hear from her myself but until then at least i know she is still pushing forward!!

I got two letters from my recruit today!!!!!  My daughter said it is about what she expected, and, whatever you do, you do not want a nickname there!  Her letters were upbeat, positive, and encouraging.
