Welcome to the Division Discussion for division 804 and 805.

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining you to answer your questions about this "800" division. Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

That would be a really good idea.  I wonder if they are only using half of them now.  That's pretty funny:)

I know. I was surprised.  He never cleaned the bathrooms at home:)  LOL

It's good to know I'm not crazy. I too check the mail box as soon as I can and I used to check it every few days. I panic if I realize I don't have my phone on me or if the battery is running low.

I'm so glad I have 3 other children to keep me distracted.

I love hearing what your sons are writing, it helps to know what they are doing.

Still waiting for a call or letter.

We just got phone call!!!!! Yeah, sooo great to hear his voice. I had a whole 10 minutes of pure joy!!!

Katiegirl, So happy for you!  I'm hoping I get a call tomorrow.  I'm trying so hard not to read into the fact my son hasn't called.  I just want to talk to him:(

Thanks - Guess I better go for another two hours of yoga!

Cor,

I think you were right about watch - also seemed like their is a large group so they get to call in groups? Cor do you know if we will get to spend the entire weekend with SRs?

I got my call yesterday too. I was so happy. I had company and abanded them for 20 minutes. They copletely understood. The only other family member home was his 9 year old brother that looks up to him. He was so happy to getting to say hi to his big brother in BC.
He sounded good, but tired. He's getting to know other guys in the division. He actually called twice. the first time for just a few minutes because there were so many guys waiting to call. Then called back about five minutes later saying the other group had to leave so his group got more time. He's not getting as much PT as he would like. Food is nothing special. Got fitted for his dress uniform. Feels cut off from the rest of the world. He did get his wisdom teeth pulled and swelled so much he had to spend an extra day off. He said they don't feel the cold with the coats they have to wear.
I pray you all get to hear from your sons soon, if you haven't yet. Oh he did mention mail is really slow. He just received our first letter yesterday.
so excited for graduation now. Hope to meet some of you there.

Finally received a call from SR!  So, so happy!  I can hardly remember details I am just so happy to listen to his voice and know that he is well.  I do remember him saying that they are not cold and still are not working out very much.  Also confirmed that are receiving mail.

Congrats Chico!  So glad for you!  I know it made all the difference for me to hear his voice:)  Enjoy your day.

Yeah Chico! It's definitely a relief to hear their voice.
