Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 806

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.

Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

With regard to the table decoration, this is what I have so far.  It will work to help 806 people find each other at the Meet and Greet, however, there is plenty of room for people to stick in other things, if desired!   I can take things out to make room, too.  Right now it is very patriotic, but Navy items are welcome!  If not this will serve its purpose.

I like it!!!

I am so glad to find this site again! I remember being on it years ago when my older son joined the Navy. Now his brother is set for PIR and I am happy to reconnect once again. It is so nice to talk with other moms/dads who understand this journey :)

Welcome!  Is your SR 806?

Yes..806 :)
Mtnestr, I think it's great, I wouldn't add anything, I was out today looking for something and came up empty but I will keep looking in case there is something we must have.
Have your phones, calls ars coming. He sounds great! Can't wait for graduation.
I got a call yesterday too....he sounded great. He said inspections went very well for them for the week so they got a reward (or WE got a reward...however you want to look at it lol)

I got to talk to him last time he called on the 6th....this time it was his girlfriend's turn.  We have promised each other we will report each time we hear from him.  She said he was passing his tests, physical, inspections, etc.... so all is good!  She had missed his call last time and was devastated, so I am REALLY glad he was able to catch her this time!  Have a great Sunday everyone!

Plane tickets purchased, hotel and car reserved. Getting excited. I'm not usually excited about taking trips, but I'm really looking forward to this one. I thought our son would be upset that we are leaving Saturday, but when we told him about the difference in prices, he was happy we weren't spending a lot. We want to go see him in Florida this summer.

Sometimes ya' just have to listen to the "ole pocketbook"!  :)

Calls are coming. My husband is talking to our son now.
