Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 807

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.

Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

No phone call either - I too am wondering why the guys in our Div are not getting to make a call yet.  I've only received one letter and that was a few days ago.  I'm hoping no news is good news - but a call sure would make a lot of us feel much better right now.

My husband said in his letter that they had limited time to write letters last week because people had been messing around earlier that morning.  Hopefully it's not some guys messing around that is getting everybody's phone calls taken away!

My husband said the same thing in his letter, that some people were messing around causing problems for everyone. From what I understand calls typically come sometime the 3rd week but it could be any week, if at all, depending on their RDC. Whether that is the 3rd week after arriving or the 3rd week not including their processing week I don't know. I'm not going to speculate much more than that because I don't know what they are going through each day.

My son said that 5 from this Division have already got the boot!  (in the 1 letter I received last Thursday) Not sure if that means kicked out of the Navy or just this Division and moved to another Division??  Anyone know the answer?  He said that if they would just listen and do as they were told they'd be OK.  Hummmmm I'm sure I've said those same words to him at some point in his life.  :)  Think he's wisened up!  Hope they all do soon so they can call us.

WOW! I can't believe people went all that way just to get booted out!  Glad our SRs have figured out how to listen.  Maybe we should just use boot camp yelling techniques to get them to listen at home :P haha!

No call yet.

:(

No call yet! Tomorrow will be 3 weeks. I'm going with "no news is good news" =)

Good Morning Everyone!! Well today is 3 weeks and up early so that I can have a clear voice incase my son gives me a call this morning. But, I have decided I'm not going to be sad if the day goes by and no call, maybe a bit disappointed, I'm just going to go with it and know he will call me first chance he gets, I knew ahead of time to be prepared for this, I am going to continue to write and keep my phone close and be extremely excited when I do hear his voice.
Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.

Good Afternoon Anthony's Mom,

That verse is a GREAT one for us Navy Moms - this experience is sure testing my faith in God & He's making it stronger.  Gotta lean on Him, can't go thru this without God on our side.  :)

No call here either.  Hope they get a chance sometime this week.  Meanwhile, I just keep sending my letters & saying prayers.  Hopefully the letters brighten his day a little bit.

Hi, ladies! Yep, 3 weeks today. I am so addicted to this wonderful website! It's a life saver and I am learning so much! I love the support, Q & A, etc. The count down clock you see when you log in is great!  Have a wonderful day!

Psalms 91 is a great prayer of protection for our guys and gals! My brother had bracelets made for my SR's family and friends. It's navy blue with white letters. Says NAVY and Pray Psalm 91 Over _____. Lots of requests to wear one :)

It gives me much comfort.

A friend of mine gave me a Bible Study - Psalms 91 (I can't think of the author at the moment).  I've only read a little bit of it due to the holidays.  I hope to dive into it soon.  I think it will help give me peace of  mind that God is looking after our sons.  A hedge of protection around them all!  :)

Robsproudmom, I love it! Great idea!
