OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 025 and 026
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

jrwmdro06.26 - Yes I just responded to your post in the group, we got a call as well. He didn't tell me they were messing up alot but he did say they almost lost the call, he gave me his address and asked me to have everyone write, he wants letters. Otherwise he is doing as well as one can expect. Praying for you.
Anyone else here get their call?

That's great my son is the same and we haven't received a form letter yet either how strange I'm hoping to be familiar with some parents that have SR in same division.

Anyone receive a call yet from their recruit in 06/025? My son is in this division and we are eager for news about how it is going.

I received a call yesterday morning, ship 6-25....but still haven't received form letter. I had to get the mailing information from his recruiter.

I have no idea why he got to call if others didn't. We didn't have a very long call (maybe 5 minutes and they were telling him it was time to go) at all as he had to go through several pay phones before he was able to get through and me able to hear him. Our connection even with that was very hard to hear him. I still haven't gotten the form letter or anything from him other than the box; I had to get his address from his recruiter. So while it said 06/25 and I understood him to verify that, I don't know why he would have been able to call if others weren't able. He didn't talk about others or how the division was doing or anything. What few minutes we were able to speak was him having to repeat himself (lousy connection) and us discussing issues that had to be taken care of immediately. I wish I had more news or better news, but I don't. If i hear anything else, i will post what i can.

Ok so I got to thinking that maybe the info th e recruiter gave me was wrong and with the lousy connection I misheard him as well....so I called the PAO today to see if they could at least verify th e info for me. The only thing they would say is that I just have to wait on a letter from my son to see what the address is and them I can ask him for the info in the form letter.
