Hi moms of SHIP07/DIV170! :)

Have any of you received a phone call from your SR this week?

I got a call last monday evening, but recieved letters this monday (post dated for fri not sure how he got to mail them out before sun) that said this week was their hell week and that they recieved their 1 of 6 flags they can be awarded!

We got our first call on Saturday, it was good to hear from him.

We received our call on Saturday PM. It is the only call since the first "I made it here".  He said he really only has time to write on Sunday and that is only if he skips church!  No letter this week so I guess he went to church. lol

@Shawn's mom- A letter and a call yay for you!!

@ Permalink - I too received a letter on Monady, much to my surprise, and another on Wednesday for our SR's brother. It's starting to feel like we are getting clos to PIR.

No letter this week :-/  I guess he figured he talked to his dad on Saturday so he didn't have more to say LOL.

hi shawn's mom2 and travis' mom, my son is ship 07 div 170 as well, we live in st louis but we moved here from PowayCA so I know where Lake Elsinore is.  glad to see some moms with the same info

Yeah for Poway!! we love SD county. Glad to meed you!   I wonder if our kids know each other..  Its kind of funny that I am most curious about how many "buddies" he is making. lol

hey shawn's mom, i asked my son about meeting new guys and he said he has made some new friends but there are also some guys that he doesn't like.  will you be going to BC graduation on 6/1.  we will be there, three wks from today!!

We plan on being there but Shawn has not been able to pass the physical fitness yet... He told us to get refundable tickets!!  I think he is just a worrier, I am sure he can do it..  I know 3 weeks is getting close!!

My son did mention that some guys/gals don't pass but he still has 3 wks to work on it.  I will keep my fingers crossed for both of you.  I can't wait until BC is over.  I hate not being able to contact him.

Hi Ladies- Last I heard from my son; he had not passed the physical part either, but was only a few sit ups and push ups away.  He sent back the questionaire and gave the last names of some of his friends that he has met there, but we are not supposed to use last names on this site.  We are so excited; it feels like it's jsut around the corner.   One of our SRs friends from childhood in Clovis, Ca is going to come as well.  They haven't seen each other since last summer.  Should be a good time for all.
