Hi my son Alex is in this ship/div. Looking forward to PIR!
Im with you girl! Hope we get to meet!
How is Alex doing? Have you gotten letters and phone calls.
Got a letter today! How bout the rest of 09/016? Son said everything was ok, doesn't like to food, but is getting used to it. The PT is good (his DEPs met almost everyday for PT, his recruiter was/is absolutely awesome). So happy right now!
Glad to see you got a letter and your son is doing well. My son is also in Ship 09 Div 016 hope to get a letter soon. I a about to loose my mind waiting on one. Let you know when I receive mine. Good luck to all boys.
Got a call today, he is doing great, he loves it. Loves his uniforms, says they start weapons training in a couple of weeks, which he is very excited about.
my boyfriend is in the same ship and div. i got 1 phone call from him last oct29th and 2 mails from him... i want to hear his voice again and see him again im so excited!!! we're half way there!!!
Really? No letters from your son? That's terrible I have received 3 letters so far, one was the formal letter thoug. I hope you do get one this week!!! I usually get mine on Thursday...now I never know if he is going to send me one, he is not a good comunicator, you know. I feel bad for you I know the feeling, But I wonder what could be the reason. Be patiente and pray. I will pray for you too:) Let us know when you finally get it! hope is this week! My son is this Div 016 also. GOD help them get throught BC.
Hi I am new here... and my son is in the same ship and same division as your sons/daughters. I feel much better now that I found this site. I have received two phone calls from my son and 5 letters. He felt a little sick because he is not used to the very cold weather, but he is feeling much better now. On his fourth letter, he explained things since the day he arrived at the BC. I was really worried and concerned, but I am more at peace now that he is doing a lot better. On his recent letter, he talked about the Halloween. He said the Halloween treat that they received was a small piece of snicker bar that was given by their Chief and the trick was, they had a 30 minutes Intensive Training. I hope to see you all on Dec. 03. Very proud of my son and I am proud of yours too. I do appreciate all of them. Good luck to all them and May God Bless everyone!!!
Received a letter yesterday Nov. 9th. Said all is going well. He said he can't wait to show me how to fold, iron, and shine toilets. Said they have 82 people now in their division. They have started their weapons training and have Live Fire on 11/12( I am guessing that is the final test for weapons) he says that should be fun and hopes to get a ribbon for sharp shooter. He said they had Marlin Spike a basic line throwing, knot tying and other things on 11/5. He said he made a 4.3 of 5.0 on written test and was excited about that. Everything seems to be going good for his division. Now I am thinking I need a phone call.
I can see your son does really good at writing!! Im very happy for you! If this Div is doing good that gives me hope;) I may get a letter from my son tomorrow but I never know for sure if he will...I m sure you'll be reading that letter many, many times like I did;) Keep us posted if you get news or a CALL...if you do I hope you get to ask some of the ?'s you may have.....take care
yeah i am so jealous my boyfriend only write just a lil bit for me... but in his letter i think he really misses the outside world but he likes that they have a pretty nice officers... and hope we get a call soon!!!
