Just checking in.  I've been in the PIR 01/13/2012 group but have not posted here yet.  Saw my SR on Christmas - was soooo happy to see him!  I'm a little concerned though, because he has not passed his running test.  Does anyone know when we will be notified if he does not pass & is going to be held back?  We would have to change some plans.  We are praying he makes it this time - I believe they said their next Physical Fitness Assessment is on Jan. 6th.  Good luck to all your PR's!

I think we will get calls starting at the end of next week.  I'll pray for your son : )

Yes most definately praying for everyone's SR's.  My SR who passed everything the second time said that everyone must still pass the final.  I too think we may hear by end of next week and of course this just adds to my anxiety, LOL!!!!

Also to NavyBiz - hope you found us on RTC facebook page!

i did find you guys ,ty

Thanks Shmommy & Cathy M & to everyone who is praying for our SR's.  I say a prayer for them every night.  Sounds like they still need to learn to work as a team & to be quiet :)  Once we get our "I'm a Sailor" calls, the graduation day can't come soon enough!!

God Bless you all.

Does anyone have a sailor going to Monterey, CA?  And does anyone know when their sailor will ship out?  Guess there are some questions that won't be answered until they call us again, huh?

My SR is going to San Antonio.  I asked him to let me know specifics in my letter to him yesterday.  This once a week communication is killing me in this age of instant gratification, LOL!

My SR is also going to San Antonio.  He said he will be "Grad & Go" so he will be leaving between 2am and 10am on Saturday for San Antonio.  Will your son be taking leave or going directly to San Antonio too?

My SR is also going to SA....he said he will have at least 8 hrs to spend with us. Before he leaves for for A-school. I'm glad they will be together. I read while they will be able to communicate it will still be a lot like Bootcamp with the marching and all....I joined the Corpsman Mom group and it gave a lot of info.

Can anyone tell me where I can get the Div ribbons from.

Regarding San Antonio I'm hoping to get a letter today with specifics!  My SR's rating is Master At Arms.  Hope that it is Saturday morning and not Friday afternoon.

Regarding the ribbons, if you have Facebook go to Unique Memory Makers.  If you don't have facebook, you can email at  uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com

Hope to meet everyone at Sarges!!!

Why isn't anyone posting on here?  Did no one else get a call today? We got the dreaded call from our SR that he did NOT pass his 3rd run test.  He was devastated, to say the least.  He said he will get another chance this week, but if he doesn't make it, they will hold him back & he won't get to graduate.  The way I understand it is he will not get to go through a ceremony at all, just ship straight to A school once he passes the test.   Anyone know anything about that?  I've just been grasping for any information that might ease my mind a little!

There must be a jinx on all of our phones.  Our home phone stopped working Thursday night and Verizon can not come to fix it until late next week. OMG   Then my cell phone also Verizon is giving me trouble.  At least we have two other cell phones he can call.   I sure hope we hear from them soon.
