I have still yet to recieve a form letter. Hoping my mail man will be bringing it today! I did however have my husbands recruiter check again today to make sure his address hasn't changed and he said his perm was Ship 09 Div 145 :0) So I hope to find others in this group who have loved ones in this Division. Best wishes and prayers are with you all!

Thank you for the heads up.  It was nice to anticipate seeing my son but there are so many

people in his group.  I wasn't able to see him but I'll keep looking.  '

Is anyone going to a Meet and Greet?  I think we are going to Sarge's which sounds like fun.

If anyone else is going, we should wear something to  delineate Div 145. Any other ideas?

I looked at the pictures when I seen them pop up on FB and my husband is in there but his face is hidden by the flag in his face :0( guess that's a down side of being a section leader. Says his face is always getting beaten by the flag lol. Cracked me up when he first said it, but now I see he was very much being serious.

Just lick to open in a new page and zoom.

Does anyone know an exact date for our divisions battlestations 21? How is everyone feeling about the upcoming reunion with our new and improved men? I'm excited and nervous all wrapped up in one. I don't know what to think or expect. We are going to have Sailors soon! Let's just hope they haven't learned to curse like one from the RCD's lol. I have a fear that we are going to get there and the shuttle wont come to take us to the graduation. Hope everyone is doing well. I have tried to post a couple of times over the past 2 days, but where I usually only have my phone, it hasn't been allowing me to post for some reason :0( Will be praying that everyone passes, and gets to graduate on time!

Love those pictures!. Our son is in the line on the left.  He marched in the snare line in a band for three years and healways marched with his mouth open. Compared to some of the other divisions, I think their lines are the staightest. In the band, that was important, it probably is for the navy, too.

Jessica-

I am soooo excited to see the new and improved son. He will be handsome in the whites. From the picture, it looks like he has gained some weight. (greatly needed) Your wording is great- excited and nervous all in one. I talked to a man from Great Lakes at the dr's the other day and he said that the entry process is extremely smooth. No worries! There are alot of years of practice for getting the families in on time to see their loved ones.

Have a great day-

Cathy

Lets hope so! lol. I need to start packing things for my husband now so that I have time to make sure not to forget anything. He wants hygienic things that they arenot allowed to have there lol. Has anyonemade plans for where to meet with their sailor? I don't really know what the options are. Guess I will discuss it with himon Friday afternoon :0)

Hey everyone!

We should be getting calls tomorrow from this time on! hoorah!

YES!! Got the call.  Happy days are here!  Friday will be so exciting.  Hopefully this week will fly by.

I'm sure that our time in Chicago will probably fly by.  I 'm still a little skeptical but events seem to be

coming into place - my fingers are still crossed.  My son sounded terrible to me but my husband didn't

seem to notice.  He has been hoarse since going to Boot Camp. He said it was because he was tired

but very excited to get some Red Bull  and candy - who knew that this would be such a treat to him.

We are so proud of him and I will be counting the minutes until I see him on Friday.  I'm sure that everyone

feels this way.

Hello Ladies :0) I am finally where there is internet again! Thank you Emma for the info! I am so very excited and nervous! Hope everyone has a great time in Great Lakes! I won't be going to the Meet and Greet because I will have two small children that are very difficult in crowded places so I am saving the excitement for the next morning lol! My husband didn't go get himself a soda and candybar because he said he didn't want to waste time he could talk to me. Wish he would have though, he sounded awful :0( Im sure some sugar would have helped a bit. He asked for 5 hour energy shots for when he gets to come out with us lol. I will be praying for everyone to have a safe trip :0) Good luck and be safe!
